Worth every penny, there was good amount of crabmeat layered on top of a buttery croissant.
$11-$12 for crepe and 2 scoops of ice cream, pretty good deal for friends to share quality time over. This cafe is within walking distance from Nex so itโs really convenient! We had rum&raisin and salted caramel flavoured ice cream, they were nice and creamy, really complemented the warm and soft crepe. Would recommend ๐
Grilled to perfection, not at all tough, rubbery or chewy! The sauces complemented the octopus well, it was an overall great dish! Never tasted an octopus so great
The dessert was well-balanced between the coffee and Ameretto liqueur flavours, and the mascarpone had been whipped till it was smooth, light and beautifully fluffy. The perfect end to a delicious meal. Thank you for hosting us :) and thanks @burpple for the invite! #burpple #burppletastemaker #dessert #tiramisu
Much as I love the portion of this avo toast, didn't quite like the choice of spread used here.
Could sour cream or cheese spread be better?

Dense and luxurious with a lingering creamy mouthfeel, the gelato from Italian confectionery Venchi is the closest we can get to an idyllic Italian summer in Singapore. Pop by its stand in Takashimaya Food Hall (it's located near Godiva) and order a double scoop ($8.90, or $6.90 if you want to be modest with a single scoop). Trust us, too much of this gelato is still never enough. The Burpple community loves the Giandujotto, where the age-old combination of hazelnut and chocolate results in Ferrero Rocher-esque flavours that are absolutely decadent. Pair it with a chocolaty gelato like the bittersweet and chocolaty Cuor di Cacao or, for true blue chocolate connoisseurs, the Azteco, a rich water-based dark chocolate gelato made sans milk. The nutty flavours like Pistachio and Hazelnut are great too. Burpple Tastemaker Sheryl Lyx likes how the latter is nutty without being too sweet. Pro tip: It's worth checking out the other Venchi counter at Robinsons at the Heeren as they sometimes offer different flavours. Better yet, visit both and have a scoop at each!
Avg Price: $10 per person

Seriously had a hard time choosing the flavours at BOP Gelato cause they all taste so good!!!!! Forced myself to take the Pistachio (+$1) this time round (otherwise I would have gone straight for White Chrysanthemum) and I sure didn't regret it. Those nuts sure weren't crushed in vain as they added a well-bodied roasty flavor to the ice cream. Mint lovers should definitely go for this Mint Cocoa that is light and refreshing. Also, highly recommend the freshly made Thyme cone (+$1). This double scoop costs $9.90 ($7.90+$1+$1).
Fine dining. Delicious and romantic
We have heard good things about the Karisik Kebab Platter for two, which includes a selection of chicken and lamb kebab, served with rice and salads. It would make for a satisfyingly meaty post-work dinner! Photo by #BurppleTastemaker Dixon Chan #Burpple
Bagels accompanied by Meat Platter that comprises of Pastrami, Corned Beef and Roast Beef; and Fish/ Dips Platter of Smoked Trout Dip, Smoked Salmon Dip and Smoked Salmon.
Located at The Star Vista food court at level 2, this western stall serves up cafe worthy dishes such as Salted Egg Seafood pasta and Egg Benedict on toast. But my attention was diverted away to this $8 sirloin steak. Heavily marinated with rosemary, it's not the best cut of steak, and I would say it's barely passable for $8. I wouldn't recommend it, but I will come back to try out the more interesting pasta dishes!
