From their insta, and from my own memory, I ordered valrhona dulcey and sea salt but the paper packaging said caramelia+ sea salt
What's weird is that the Instagram page didn't even have caramel that day
Nonetheless, the caramel inside wasn't v strong, and im starting to understand why people are fascinated w BUNDT. The brownies have a uniquely soft texture, somewhat like the cross of cake, fudge, and foam. Very rich too and the taste isn't cloying, tho it requires some sort of liquid to wash down after the 3rd bite.
Rather expensive for such a small block, tho filling nonetheless.
Dinner at Bitters and Love cannot go wrong with a plate of Pan-seared Steak and Frites ($25), which would pair up nicely with some alcohol.
180g Rangers Valley angus beef with a beautiful pink hue that is well seasoned, thinly sliced and juicy without a hint of gaminess from the meat will be sure to fill your hungry heart with generous yet evened out portions of runny sunny side up, side salad, and of course frites that are salted just enough to taste.
While evidently beyond your average steak, there is a bit of chewing effort needed for this, though I would ultimately say that for its value, this is a homely plate of steak that would appease your appetite for indulgence without heftily burning your wallet.
This homegrown spot has come a long way in crafting that authentic izakaya experience. Come with friends to share a big bottle of house sake ($138 for 1.8L) and order these for a surefire win: fresh Maguro Yukke ($12) with a splash of sesame and chilli oil, the creamy, mentaiko-loaded Rosti Mentai ($8) and the always good Chef Selection Skewers ($18 for five skewers).

Truly Konichiwa Hojicha now that @dear.nesuto is selling it in slices! I had to think long and hard about getting it previously because they only sold the whole cakes. I got this together with the Yuzu Raspberry cake and both were really yummy. The Yuzu Raspberry was sweet with both the Yuzu Raspberry flavours providing a nice balance. I really liked the Konichiwa Hojicha with the robust nutty flavours in the cream and the sponge. They only accept online orders now so do remember to order online before heading down! 🤗
We had the Dumplings Party which comes in 5 flavours: original, vegetables mandu, smoked duck, momo curry and fried pierogi. Each tastes really good - the steamed ones are juicy. The smoked duck is sweet and tender. Momo curry and fried pierogy are on the stronger side, I like the fried pierogy for its crunchy skin with soft potato filling sprinkled with truffle oil and chilli powder. There's mentaiko sauce on it so it's really tasty. Shared this with a girlfriend and it is really filling together with the bowl of noodles and refillable appetiser and tea. With Burpple Beyond, it totaled about $31. Quite a deal for the quality and quantity of food. We were served by friendly waitresses which made the dinner a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this place to friends :)
The chargrilled 18 hr sous vide iberico pork Jowl is a joy to eat! The meat is so delicious and flavorful! Will definitely return for this.
Had tasted so many Sichuan food, this dish surprised me. Chicken is so tender on the side, spring onion and bean and zhacai is on another side plate. There a poached egg in the center and it gives additional flavour and creamy taste to the noodle! I love it!
THE CONE IS THE BOMB. Even before stepping into the store, the smell of the cone wafted into our noses. The icecream was decent - could taste the pistachio but would be nicer if it was stronger.
If you want indulgence on a plate, this Mediterranean Flat bread ($18+) from Paddy Hills is your go-to. The herb-heavy meatballs carry the main flavour of the dish, with the runny yolk from the sunny side up adding a layer of warmth that mellows down the zing from the tomato based sauce. The buns are worth a mention as well, toasted to perfection and soaking up all the flavours from the meatballs. If you take a closer look, curry leaves are baked into the buns too! Pair this dish with a cool refreshing drink (we recommend the Bubble Yuzu!) and you'll have a satisfying meal that lasts.
Japanese Yuzu & Royal Earl Grey gelato ice cream 🍦 Initially I thought those are macarons due to the way they are being kept (head down to their IG to see for yourself) but they are in fact capsules 😅 the flavors are very rich. The Japanese Yuzu really makes me feel like I'm drinking the yuzu instead of eating it as ice cream. Same goes for the earl grey! Love the earl grey flavour - by far the best earl grey ice cream I've ever tasted omo #myheartapprove for real 💯
