Decided to try out this place since it's new on Burpple Beyond and we wanted Jap food. When we first arrived at 6.45pm on a Saturday, we were shocked to see that there was only 1 table occupied! Nevertheless we gave it a shot, and I had this bowl of ramen, which was one of the very few non-spicy options on the menu.

The Mentaiko roe was alright, not too overpowering. In fact the Tonkotsu base was strong, although a bit too oily. The chicken slices were tender and I like that they were quite generous with the ingredients in the bowl. Overall, I guess you can't compare to the ramen specialty stores, but still worth a try if in the area.

With 2 slabs of fried chicken, this burger is pretty substantial! Good for those who prefer non-beef patties in their burgers. Comes with a side salad and shoestring fries.

A pretty delicious plate of pasta with porcini cream sauce that wasn't too jelak. The truffle paste wasn't too overpowering as well. Love the medley of mushrooms and the fat shavings of parmesan!

Handmade la mian with handmade dumplings from scratch - what could be better? The meat within the dumplings tasted fresh, and I like the slightly QQ texture of the noodles.

Slow cooked minced beef in tomato sauce - the serving was substantial and the fettucine had that handmade taste to it. Love the slightly creamy tomato sauce too!

Am thrilled to learn that this Carbonara here follows the authentic Italian recipe!! Which means none of that cream nonsense, just egg yolk and parmesan to create that delectable sauce! Rarely do you find such renditions here in Singapore and I love every bit of this dish here!

This stall attracts a long queue every day, dishing out many plates of hor fun and fried rice. I like that they were pretty generous in the portions, particularly for the wallet friendly price of $4! However, I felt the hor fun could do with more wok hei.

A salad bowl consisting of shrimps, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots, cabbage and a huge dollop of avocado! Really enjoyed this bowl, not only was it refreshing with the zesty and slightly savoury dressing, it was pretty generous with the ingredients too! The shrimps were quite thick and fresh, and the avocado was really delightful to mix the salad with.

Absolutely love this sandwich! The sauteed mushrooms were delicious and you can taste the earthy tones in them, plus the melty cheese just makes the combo a match made in heaven! It may be a vegetarian sandwich but this is filling and tasty to boot!

DIY Korean Bibimbap where you can choose the main ingredient (fish/chicken/beef), base (white rice, brown rice, soba, tofu etc), 5 basic toppings (beansprout, carrot, kimchi etc) and other optional add-ons (onsen egg, mushrooms etc). At the end, add their special homemade sauces, cover the lid, and shake it to mix it all up!

I got the cured salmon and soba (+$1) and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Even without the sauces, the food was very flavourful and tasty, and the salmon was fresh! The portions were alright too. Although I didn't expect the soba noodles to be so thin haha.

All my fav ingredients in one dish - mixed mushrooms, truffle cream sauce, spaghetti and parmesan cheese! Not to forget the runny egg on top. The sauce was a little too much and heavy, hence making it jelak towards the end. But the mushrooms were cooked well, and the pasta was of the perfect al dente texture.

Yet another well executed fusion dish from Redpan, this pasta had that spicy kick similar to the actual hae bi hiam, and the prawns and pretty fresh too. No wonder this is one of their signature dishes!
