We were looking for desserts and spotted an insanely long queue at Ah Chew's. Being the typical kiasu Singaporean, I pulled the bf to join the queue haha.

But hor, I personally don't find this very amazing/special... Perhaps their Orh Nee (Yam Paste) is the highlight but nothing too special with their Mango Pomelo or Red Bean Paste.

The durian sago ($6.5) is so good. The mango sago($4) is also good. I prefer durian sago.

Ordered quite a number of desserts and prices varies.
Green bean soup | $2.60
Mango Sago | $4.00
Watermelon Honeydew Sago | $3.60
Mochi Rice Ball | $2.40 (4pieces)
Desserts were quite decent for the price.

When hot dessert meets cold dessert...... black glutinous rice was heavenly, wanted to add their rice balls but was already too full for it. Got their grass jelly with longan as well which was refreshing!

Black glutinous rice $3.30
Watermelon honeydew sago $3.60

WAITING TIME: Got a table instantly when we went past 11PM on a weekday. Less than 5 minutes for both desserts to arrive.

Ah chew dessert is pretty famous hence no introduction is needed. However, the sesame paste was a little diluted. Would be better if sesame was a lot more fragrant.
