They never fail to satisfy.

Much has been written about this place so I will not delve or explain much, except that you should head down and get your hands (and tummy) on a plate. The gooey mess of a mountain topped with pork cutlet, fried egg, ngor hiang and cabbage is a recipe for food coma. Nothing fanciful or boujee, just simple, honest and ugly delicious food done right that is just oh-so-comforting.

Most probably can't make up what this plate of messy goodness consists of, but it's this mess itself that makes curry rice so darn attractive. I ordered 4 different ingredients: pork belly, pork cutlet, fried egg and stir fried cabbage and it costed me $6.30. I feel like the pork belly is a must get, as its so well braised due to its tender and flavourful meat! Love how they scooped many different kind of sauces into my plate, soaking every grain of rice with the wonderful curry sauce! Only one word needed to describe this: shiok!

Heard and read so many good reviews on this place, and is usually listed among the best hainan curry rice in SG.

The curry served here was a mixtures of a few gravy/sauces which they lump on your plate, it certainly looks very ugly and messy.

Overall for me though, Sadly, I felt the curry to be very bland and not at all spicy dispute a layer of chilli inside their "layers"

Maybe they having an off day, will Try again in the near future.
