Decor and ambience of this place is just wow. Little hard to find near tanglin, but totally worth the visit.

Repeat customers of the cafe, pictured is the big breakfast and lychee tea both of which were satisfactory and delicious!
French toast w strawberry n blueberry(toast was not too heavy), Caramelized banana(not too sweet), almond crumble, Vanilla ice cream, maple syrup n snow powder. Good for sharing or a light meal~
We ordered the steak to be cooked medium - meat was cooked pink and tasted well seasoned. The onion rings were tasty with a hint of truffle. I used burrple 1-for-1 which in my view, the plate was a steal in terms of value.
The french toast had a wonderful soft texture and went well with the fruits and ice cream. Love the fragrant vanilla notes in the ice cream and the soft crunch of the caramel on the banana. Nonetheless I think the whole plate had too many sweet items which made it difficult to enjoy after having half the plate. Wish that they had a little bit of zing in there to make it more balanced - eg having lemon yoghurt ice cream.
I had the iced matcha tea latte ($6) which I would give 2/5. It was unfortunately rather bland and tasteless.

Nice pork, great presentation, but the sides were not great. I am not sure what could be the other options,but this dish was not up to the mark. 3 on 5 for me.
The cafe itself is beautiful with amazing decor and friendly staff.

The other food options are great and they have the impossible burger too. Rose latte is the best drink in my opinion. 5 stars for the cafe.

Pan seared salmon was yummy with the lemon & cream cheese filling. Love the turkish couscous and sous vide egg - they go well together!
Yummy fried onions, hash-browns and roquette! Ordered medium for my beef but it wasn’t medium throughout the meat - some were medium well/medium rare... perhaps too thick? Didn’t fancy the yellow mustard-ish sauce, didn’t pair well with the beef imo.

Impossible burger (~$18): imo the patty was too salty for my liking, especially the top and the base, which was slightly overdone. Had better impossible patties so I’d pass on this!

Tried the Char Siew Miso Pasta (~$18), an attempt of a fusion between Asian and Western cuisine! Fattiness from the melt in your mouth Char Siew added a nice break to the saltier pasta base. 🍖 Pasta was quite mushy and soft though, and could be better having more bite.

Interesting deconstructed concept but failed in terms of taste. Fried chicken had little meat and the batter wasn’t even crispy. Pickled radish tasted off but at least the kimchi was decent.
One of Chef’s plant based dishes which I felt was a major disappointment. The plant based meatball was too salty with the teriyaki sauce. Although the crushed peanuts added a good crunch to the dish, it was too much and became quite overpowering. The shredded veggies were nice but somehow gave me the feeling like I was having an early CNY yusheng dish. Had it not been for the Burpple Beyond app, I wouldn’t pay for something so mediocre.
Sad cup of hot chocolate. Felt like I was drinking a cup of warm milk with some chocolate essence.
Pretty decent cup of cappuccino but the bubbles surface real fast. Expect the coffee art to disappear in mins.
We got 4 sets of steak which were all nicely presented in a mini tower with onion rings, hashbrown, rocket salad and mustard sauce!! Since it was compulsory to get a meal + drink set to be eligible for the 1-1 deal we also got 4 drinks - passion fizz, black cold brew, rose latte and got chocolate! all were p good :-) Only downside is that they were all rly puny lmao mini cups ._. The latte art is rly qt too (esp the snowflake on the got chocolate for that christmas vibe) I personally thought the steak was p decent although quite small but my parents said “it’s too hard” which I could tell from the colour of their steaks. So I guess it’s really based on your luck whether they serve you some solid steak or overcooked ones lmao (we all got medium-rare). I found the fried stuff (onion rings and hashbrown) rly solid (literally cos crispy ha pls laugh) but the salad was kinda dead and not fresh at all (leaves look like they were literally dying) 🌱Ambience-wise is rly clam and nicely decorated (it’s beginning to feel a lot like christmas amirite homies ✌🏻🎄❄️☃️) However, it’s quite an inaccessible place if you don’t come by car so that’s a boohoo factor 🚗 Would come again but only with the 1-1 deal and if someone chauffeurs me over because grab is way too expensive and would make it #notworth !! I made sure our sets are all exactly the same price to avoid the situation where they took the prices of the 2 more expensive sets (not sure if that’s how it works - vs taking the more expensive one between each 2 sets aka you can get 2 expensive sets and 2 cheaper sets and pay for 1 expensive set and 1 cheaper set if that makes sense???) because #cheapskatelife TEEHEE Spent total of $59 before GST and tax which is approx $70 after GST and tax which is not a vv steep price for a steak meal for 4 heh 🤪 - candace ✌🏻
