I really liked this for how mushroom-y it was. The pesto and pine nuts also elevated the flavour of the mushrooms

Skin was crispy and the meat was mostly lean with some fatty bits, sweetness from the apple puree balanced out the savouries from the meat (makes it less "jelak")

Cod was nicely done and creamy. But I prefer the crushed potatoes which absorbed all the flavours from the fish gravy, yums!

The taste was a pleasant surprise, full of spices and yet retained the sweetness of the corn soup. My favorite for the night. ❀

Kinda disappointed with this. Scallops tasted bland and were soggy from the cream sauce. Portion was also really small for the price.

We skipped the coveted beef wellington as the price tag was hefty at $80++ and we had tried the dish when we were at Hell's Kitchen in LA.

After watching his variety show from Hell's Kitchen, I have been a fan of him and the food he have to offer especially the beef wellington. We had to book 3 weeks in advance to even have a chance to eat at his restaurant.

They served complimentary bread which is very nice which I believed is they made it themselves.

We ordered Short Rib Croquettes ($21), Ossobuco ($39), Beef Wellington ($80) & Pork belly ($29). I like the batter and the flavour of the breaded skin from the Croquettes. Pork Belly is the cheapest main which I think is underrated. The Pork Belly's skin has the crackling sound when bitten which is good. I believed the Pork Belly is Singapore exclusive to cater for Singaporean. Ossobuco is a braised Veal and it was alright. Lastly, the beef wellington. The beef tenderloin was short and tender, the puff pastry and the blended mushroom was not bad. However, I find that $80 is not really worth it. Among all that we ordered, I feel that the short rib croquettes is the best.

Seemed to be cooked Chinese style. The skin was really crispy. We loved it, including the accompanying potato.

Loved how everything of this just came together so nicely, the pastry, stuffing, and meat. The accompanying veges (cabbage, carrot) tasted yummy too. This is probably one of the most memorable dishes I've eaten in a while.
