Finally found a beer I really actually liked! Not a beer fan here. This craft beer was somehow a little like wine with the fruitiness. And the sourness was very palatable. I gotta go back before it's gone!
It was $9-10/half a pint (the glass was full!)
Had the breakfast stout as well and it was so flavourful and fragrant. It had hints of toffee and vanilla, and was extremely rich in flavour.
Third time here and still falling in love with their incredibly diverse and unique craft beer options. We had 2 IPAs, the grapefruit infused IPA and the Free Frontier IPA. Both were incredibly fragrant and hoppy. We really loved that the bartenders were very knowledgeable regarding the beers and were able to make the best recommendations to us. The ambience here is great too!
...but speaking from a chemist’s point of view, alcohol is also a solution. And Druggists are one of the premium solutions providers in Singapore. I don’t even remember what this beer was, but all I know is that I liked it.

Holding peach beer (2.5% fruit lambic), bomber IPA (6% IPA) to the left, and BAIZE (6% choco mint stout) at the top. $8 - $9 for half a pint of imported beer is pretty worth it if you come with the right company. Sample tasting is provided so you could decide on the right beer among the 25 different types of beer ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Up to 20 types of craft beers available! There are also main course and appetisers on their menu. Super love the ambience there because it is not too noisy. Perfect place to catch up with friends over drinks
Be spoilt for choice at the 20 over different selection of craft beers...
Choose from Chilli Crab Sauce, Satay Sauce or Salted Egg Sauce to pair with crispy shoestring fries, which by the way are the best complements to the booze that we had.
We chose the Chilli Crab Sauce & managed to get that sweet & spicy kick that you'd usually get whenever you're wiping it dry with a deep fried mantou, but in this case, it's fries, which is kinda like the same thing (to me that is). #druggists #druggists_sg #frydaywithfries #frydaywithamd
Beer on tap is always a great idea especially for beer aficionados. Try the Delirium Tremens, purportedly the number 1 beer on their list.
Boasting 23 craft brews on tap, this bar in Jalan Besar serves fantastic beers from all over the world like Mikkeller and To Øl, paired alongside tasty Asian eats — a match made in heaven, in our humble opinion. From light, fruity ales to smoky dark porters and even a current gluten-free offering from Mikkeller, trust them when they say there is a beer for everyone! Prices average at $9 for a half pint (250ml) and $17 for a pint (500ml). When in doubt, simply approach the knowledgeable servers for recommendations and even a quick taste. The food menu sees plenty of familiar flavours with the likes of Har Cheong Gai (prawn paste wings, $12.50), Asian Poutine (fries slathered in your choice of chilli crab, laksa, satay or salted egg yolk sauce, $9) and Garlic Fried Rice ($7.50). The relaxed, retro vibes, great beers and friendly servers make this a great spot for a chillout date as well as casual drinks with friends.
Avg price: $30 per person

I would recommend this watering hole to anyone. I'm not a huge fan of beer but this place has converted me! 😉
Wouldn't really say this was really much of Char Siew here; felt more like Banh Mi instead. Pork Collar was chunky but a little dry, didn't really seem to be charsiew-sweet. Loved the pickled carrots and greens which gave the sandwich a juicy, sweet crunch and the coriander which gives a little bit of contrast. They replaced the baguettes with focaccia for they have run out of baguettes on the day of visit. Accompanying salad was refreshing, especially since it was served cold with a light vinaigrette dressing. Quite a well-sized bite for a lunch time eat, considering how much you get in return for $9.50. This is part of their brunch/lunch menu available from 12noon to 4pm everyday till 20 March 2016.
Not just simply a craft beer spot these days with a brunch/lunch menu running all the way till 20 March 2016, they do also serve coffee and other drinks alongside the craft beers on tap as well. Here's the filtered coffee that uses a blend of Sumatran and Brazilian beans; pretty light with citrus-sy flavours and a clean finish.
Fancy light bites to go along with the wide variety of 23 different craft beers on tap that they serve here. This suits the lighter tasting craft beers better; the espresso pork ribs comes with a coffee sauce carrying a bittersweet flavour spiked which is all sticky and coated the ribs. Each piece comes with just a little bit of meat to chew on, perfect for the light bite to go with the drinks so that you would not walk out feeling all bloated.
So I love my pork. So freaking much. And chicharon I love even more because it has a crunchy finish - my fav texture! The chilli chinchalok sauce was a great match. Nicely spiced! And of course this is perfect with beer.
Boasting 23 craft brews on tap (!) that change every two weeks or so, this bar serves fantastic beers from all over the world like Mikkeller and To Øl. Taking over the old Chinese Druggists Association, this space is outfitted with simple marble tables and wood chairs, lending an elegant old-world charm that puts you at ease. Sit at the high tables outside should you want an even more casual vibe. The staff are both knowledgeable and friendly, answering your every query about each alien-sounding beer, and allowing you a taste before you order. From light, fruity ales to knockout dark porters, there's something here for everyone. These beers are so tasty, and pack a good punch (especially those over 7%!), making it really value for money. Give their unique bites like Lotus Root Chips a go.
Pro tip: order half pints ($7-11), they stay cold longer and allow you to try twice as many brews ;)
The good lads of The Great Beer Experiment and Druggists have a collab in the form of a little pop up stall hawking craft beers and ciders at the Singapore River Festival. This Magic Hat #9 is a light pale ale that has quite the lingering, crisp aftertaste and a pleasant body. Do hurry down to catch them before they're gone with the wind though, they're only here till Sunday.
Sitting al fresco by the road side, I am drinking beer out of wine glasses?? Apparently it keeps the beer cold for longer because you're holding the stem & not the actual body of the glassware?
I chose F*ck Art The Heathens Are Coming (a Danish Saison beer by To Øl, a brewery in Copenhagen), & Chica Americana (a Dutch IPA by Rooie Dop).
The Saison is characteristically sour & easy to drink (if you like sour beers), & the IPA - misleadingly not American - is quite robust but not overpowering.
Prices here are not the cheapest (these were $17 per pint), but for someone who values beer on tap much more than the stuff in cans or bottles, this keeps me happy. Portions come in pints & half-pints. I will be back!
Offerings include De Molen from the Netherlands and the epic Mikkeller from Denmark, with prices at an average of $8-9 for 250ml and $15-17 for 500ml. Wait till you feel the kick these craft beauties give you!
