The cheesecake had a slight marshmallow texture lol. Interesting but the flavour was mild. Everything came from the intense butterscotch. Felt it needed a tad more butterscotch to balance out the tasteless cheesecake(this isn't a knock at all, it works in this case) but the butterscotch was pretty sweet so many more could have made it too sweet.

There is a bit too much salt though. Overall still a winner, as expected from this failproof combination.

I was just surprised by the total bill. In the end it was 50. Not that I didn't know the price of the individual dishes but somehow I didn't expect one main and one dessert to cost 50 lol. Though I guess everyone comes out of a bar paying more than they expected to lol

PSA NO MORE ROAST CKN

this was pretty decent though, slight crisp and a lot of tang. It's a light marinade and there's no need for lemon at all. Deboned and succulent

Sides were good too, with the herbed tomato and the fluffy baked potato

Dry pork slices. Tough and lack of seasoning and flavor. The wheat berries were dry and did not compliment the pork at all. Not impressed at all.

Pity that the char was nailed to perfection but the cauliflower steak was so steak and lacking a good mash or sauce and some textures like pomegranate or roasted nuts to just bring the whole dish together. Ah Well. Perhaps this place is better for the drinks and the kind of bar food you have no expectations for like fries

I can think of many places where I can get a cheaper burger for greater satisfaction. Patty was slightly overdone, didn’t help that the sauce was not great. Very ordinary, sadly nothing like the real deal like those from pasar malam

The only burger on the menu at this discreet cocktail bar (look out for a fortune teller at the entrance), the EO Burger ""Ramly Style"" ($23) is worth seeking out. The massive burger stars a beautifully seasoned patty wrapped in fried egg — a job well done in paying homage to the local Ramly. Mark this down for a get-your-hands-dirty kind of dinner date.
