the soft serve is creamy with bitter dark chocolate notes. depth of flavour dark chocolate wise it's probably a 6.5-7/10 - not super deep but strong enough to think "ah, this is a solid dark chocolate ice cream", and light enough that one can finish most of the cone. If you are looking for a sweet dessert this is not it. the cone was good. That said, $9.50 is really expensive for an ice cream :") defo not value for money unless you have a very specific craving there are definitely cheaper/more creative alternatives available
𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤 𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙚 (~$9) fell real flat. This soft serve, looks aside, was probably the most average chocolate/vanilla soft serve I’ve had, and I honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference 🙅🏻♀️ The ice cream itself was light: although credit must be given that it wasn’t icey and lacking body.

The chocolate flavour didn’t scream GODIVA! Like their chocolates do, and honestly what stood out for me was the thick gooey chocolate syrup and that thin... fragile chocolate piece 🍫

Like something you would say to your friends when they make questionable life choices, my verdict is “You can do better”, especially at this price point.

I have actually never tried Godiva's ice cream before. Their Oolong Tea Softserve was really tempting so i threw my $9 and went for it but it was quite underwhelming.. It was a great dessert, luxuriously smooth and carried a nice, caramel-y and milky flavour. But thats exactly where the disappointment sets in because the Oolong was soo mild :(
Regular priced at $9/each... Due to the recent economy downturn I guess... Even Godiva has a 1 for 1 promo... Just ended the 01.03.2020 promo... But heard is gonna have the 1 for 1 coming again soon... Check their IG for the latest update ;)
Bit the bullet and finally tried Godiva’s highly acclaimed soft serve ($9) during their one for one promotion! Perhaps my expectations were too high, but the portion was painfully small for its price and quite sloppily made. Only the twist was available for redemption - it features dark chocolate and vanilla white chocolate! The soft serve is certainly decadent, and we enjoyed the chocolate crust on the cone. Probably would wait for their next promotion to repurchase!
Creamy, rich, smooth. Taste it to experience a different kind of ice cream compared to normal ice cream found in tubs.
Managed to snag these soft serves on the last day of their one for one woohoo (never got them anymore ever since they increased their prices 😩). Queues at every outlet were long but ours moved quite quickly as the staff were very organized. These were as creamy and rich as I remember to be, but somehow just a tad sweeter? - not that I mind since they do have one of the best chocolate soft serves around!
Did not read about how the famous chocolate factory will introduce their ice cream - logic thinking is that the ice cream are melted from their chocolate bar! Yes, the $9 chocolate ice cream is so rich that makes me feel like having the second one! Love it.

Sometimes it's good to indulge… actually it's good to indulge all the time… just wish the serving size was a little but bigger.

Compared to awfully chocolate's "hei", Godiva's soft serve is less rich, but still has that intensity that you get from good chocolate.

At $8 each, it is much more dear compared to other soft serve in the market. However, can others compare with this luscious, velvety chocolate soft serve on a crispy cone? I seriously doubt so... Note: shown is picture is the mix soft serve (chocolate and vanilla), which I haven gotten a chance to try.
It is indeed golden 😌 pardon my gluttony and disgusting habits, as you can tell from the half-eaten truffles. Couldn't bear to finish them all at one go last night, yet I want to try every flavor hehe
