This was a lovely combination! The kaya was just nice, not too little and not too much. The fact that it was homemade, allows them to control the sweetness and consistency too πŸ‘will try their normal Cibatta next time around!

The coffee was good and soft boil eggs were super yumz! Homemade kaya made the whole meal a whole lot better with the thin and crispy toast πŸ‘Œ

Enjoyed both toasts! I liked that the traditional toast was crisp, but the kaya taste wasn’t v prominent and there was no cold butter slab.

The orange ciabatta toast was clean tasting and I liked it! There were orange zest bits within the ciabatta which provided an interesting flavour. The kaya was more pronounced in the ciabatta too.

Coffee was decent!

In the words of my friend, the bread tastes like biscuits from texas Fried chicken lol. Not too bad, with the Kaya being a little eggy and the orange coming in the form of orange peels. Taste like chen pi mei(preserved orange peels?), not really my thing when used in this bread but certainly not awful tasting in any way.

Here is an innovative twist to the usual toast you have! They use lightly toasted ciabatta bread which has the crisp on the outside and fluff on the inside!! Best eaten when it's still hot. But fret not, even when it cools, IT MAINTAINS THE CRISP :')) The kaya is freshly made daily, and is not too sweet which is perfect for me! If you prefer "asian" coffee like me, their Kopi O is soooooooooooo fragrant πŸ–€ Now this is literally my to-go to place for "traditional" kaya toast πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Lightly toasted upon order, the crispy outside and fluffy inside is an amazing bite and there are even bits of orange peel hidden within the bread with their homemade kaya sandwiched between it. What’s also difference with them versus the other brands is that their kaya is more of an eggy consistency which has a much better texture as compared to the more commonly seen kaya. Furthermore, the kaya is just mildly sweet, which is perfect to pair with the bitter orange peel and traditional kopi.
