@harryssingapore Curried Lamb Shank ($30++) is one of the entrĂ©es in the Asian Palate selection menu section. As such, it’s eligible for #burpplebeyond as long as you get another of the same dish. The free dish is obviously going to be the lower priced one, and since the Curried Lamb Shank is the most expensive dish on the menu, it’s unlikely that you’re gonna save thirty bucks.⠀
⠀
Still, the lamb is well worth its pricey admission fee. You get the leg of lamb, which is cooked quite agreeably and doused in a satisfyingly savoury curry. Think more north Indian curry and butter chicken-ish than our beloved Singaporean nyonya curry, and you’ve got Harry’s curry. The luscious, velvety curry adequately obfuscates the ubiquitous gamey odour that lamb naturally carries, and flavours the meat marvellously. It’s sweet & tangy from what I assume to be the tomatoes that are an integral part of the gravy, and it’s salted sensationally.⠀
⠀
As for the meat itself, it was cooked a little too long for my liking as it was starting to go a little grey, but it still retained tremendous tenderness and fell apart relatively easily. While this is definitely not the most luscious lamb dish out there, it’s rather commendable for a pub. Shoot, I might just rob another Mary of her little lamb.

Today is the 21st of June? Looks like dining out’s back on the menu, boys! And yes, #burpplebeyond is back on the menu too! One of the odd(er) places that’s a Beyond merchant is @harryssingapore. Yes, the dive bar chain does have one-for-one promos for pizzas, pastas and their Asian food.⠀
⠀
Now, long gone are the days of pub grub that looks like something outta Chernobyl, and Harry’s has kept up with the times. Look at this Mushroom Flatbread Pizza, which normally sells for twenty four dollars before GST & service charge, but was absolutely free with the power of Burpple Beyond! The additional sausage I threw onto it is charged separately, of course. Totally worth it.⠀
⠀
You can never go wrong with pizzas, but when you pair that up with tall, cold pints of beautiful beer, you’ve got absolute boozy bliss. The salty, greasy, cheesy carbs are awesomely accentuated by the unctuous umami of the spectacular ‘shrooms. Slap your sausage on there, and it’s the absolute acme of bar bites. Harry’s plays to their (inebriated) customer base well, with simple yet supremely satisfying food such as this pizza to beat back the beer munchies. I will definitely be getting another pizza that, baby!

This is not the usual aglio olio you’re used to (i.e. spicy and full of garlic). All I could taste was the japanese furikake seasoning. It doesn’t taste bad but it’s just not what they are trying to sell it as. The prawns were really fresh!

Highly recommend the Prawn & Seaweed aglio olio - the portion is quite generous and it’s quite tasty. I also ordered the mushroom truffle pizza - the truffle taste is not overpowering which I liked. Burpple 1 For 1 is only applicable for Asian, Pasta and Pizzas!

Had the beef cubes($19++), one of the recommended appetisers- not flavourful or distinct at all, with a tiny serving size. Probably better to just stick to drinks or mains while here.
