Creative favour Ice cream with crunchy waffle ,$5 above/ pax

Ice Cream texture was creamy and smooth. The level of sweetness works well for me.

Double Scoops of Ice Cream will cost $6.50 with Premium ones at an additional dollar. The Sea Salt Matcha caught my eye as I thought such a combination of Green Tea with hints of sea salt is rather special. The natural bitterness of Matcha added with salt was not too bad as a whole with sweetness other than the ice cream.

While the Creme Brûlée is also a premium selection among all the flavours. This French Classic dessert with caramelised sugar and biscuits is likewise addictive.

The classic Strawberry Milk is made of Japanese Milk and was light in taste which suits my style while the Hazelnut Crunch has a pleasant nut fragrant with Nutella swirls with caramelised biscuits in it.

Golden waffle with 2 classic scoops @ $11 ($4.50 + $6.50)

The waffle is quite well made, good texture and smells good when served with the maple syrup, though it's not extraordinary.

Got the fior di latte (japanese milk) and chocolate chip mint flavours for the ice cream. The former is light and goes really well with the waffle. The latter is quite a standard choc chip mint flavour and tastes a little bit syrupy.

Generally not bad but nothing exceptional, good place to hang out in the neighbourhood.

Very fluffy waffles and i love that it’s not eggy. Their rum & raisin ice cream is really good & the rum flavour was quite strong. Bought the voucher of 2 premium scoops from shopback for only $2 & it’s super worth it!!

This shop is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Yishun. It was not crowded when I went with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. Waffle is average, not the best I have tried. Earl grey lavender is my go-to ice cream flavour and it didn’t disappoint. I wouldn’t mind eating this again if I am nearby... I doubt I will specially make a trip down just for this.

Visiting this hidden neighbourhood ice-cream parlour deep in the realms of Yishun comes with a sense of nostalgia to me; the simpler days of cafe-hopping where such new places pops up every couple of days under a HDB block, and the discovery of a new ice-cream parlour in Yishun — a first for the North, just brings back a lot of memories about carefree days for me.

There are some new offerings such as the Yakukt Cookies which I was rather tempted to try whilst skimming through the menu board in the queue to get a seat, but found myself ordering the Honeycomb and Mao Shan Wang to go together with the Golden Waffle when I was at the counter — both of which being flavours which I have tried very early on in the days when Holy Cow Creamery had just opened their doors. The Golden Waffle now pales in comparison to the other more stellar waffles that more recent ice-cream parlours serves up — their eggy rendition, whilst is still sufficiently dense and crisp, felt a tad bland when placed aside the more appealing buttermilk variety of waffles which seems more of a norm these days. But otherwise, the Honeycomb and Mao Shan Wang ice-creams are fairly consistent over the past couple of years — the Honeycomb Ice-Cream being a flavour with a milk base that comes with swirls of honeycomb that provides a contrasting hint of sweetness whilst being a milky, creamy and rich flavour. On the other hand, the Mao Shan Wang Ice-Cream carries that same level of pungency and buttery notes that made it so impressive, and reminds me much of the same when I have had it for the very first time; something that durians will never get enough of. That being said, perhaps its probably how I am getting older; found their ice-creams a little too saccharine this time round.

It’s interesting to see how time has past, and I am quite glad to see a crowd formed up in this otherwise quiet neighbourhood for waffles and ice-cream on a weekday night — a spot perhaps well-received and cherished by residents around it.

For those with shopback, do purchase the 1-for-1 premium scoop deal ($4) because it's super worth it!

First time here and we didn't know what flavours to try other than pistachio (our go-to flavour in all ice cream place that has this flavour) so we chose Stacy's Mom, a flavour that's almost empty (turns out that it's a pretty popular flavour because many people have ordered it while we were there) Bf likes the pistachio, said that it's quite good -- super nutty and not overly sweet as well. On the other hand, Stacy's mom has a pretty unique taste tho the cherry taste is quite overpowering. Good for those who likes cherry flavoured products!

Their golden waffles ($4.50) is pretty standard, nothing extraordinary.

Ordered their hot latte as well ($4.50) and was surprised that the size id abit small but it tasted decent as well.

However, our experience wasn't that pleasant because they totally forgot about our order and we waited over 20mins for our latte and waffles. Knew that they forgot our order because the staff were just chichatting among themselves rather than making our coffee and our point was proven when two tables behind us got their food served first.. Despite that it's pretty obvious that they missed out our order, I wished that they would at least apologize for making us wait so long.

Would come back again and give them a second chance if the shopback deal still exists otherwise the location is also another meh factor because it's soooo out of the way.

P.S. We came on a rainy day so the place wasn't full, otherwise I think would need to wait awhile because it's a small cozy shop!

Rate: 3.5🌟 (would have given 4 if our experience is better! )

Delicious and highly recommended. The place is really cozy. Can get pretty crowded in the evening.

Purchased shopback voucher, 2 scopes for $4! pretty worth it for the price! Waffles is airy and crispy. But the ice cream falls short of expectations. Quite out of the way as you have to take bus from Yishun.

Used my Shopback deal so it was only $4 for 2 scoops. Super worth!! Tried the creme brulee and charcoal hojicha flavour and loved both of them! Ice cream is really of quality! Will be back to try their other flavours (with waffles!!) again!

The waffle was rather crisp, but it wasn’t very fluffy inside. Both flavours of ice cream were alright too, but it was a little too milky for my liking - the honey / rum&raisin flavour could have been more integrated into the ice cream base. I had somehow expected a honeycomb crunch (the actual beehouse, not the sugary toffee thing) since the name of the flavour is “honeycomb” after all, but it was just honey mixed in.

We went on a Wednesday night and the place was buzzing. Waited for longer than usual (> 45 min) before a female staff offered us a complimentary milkshake, and kindly explained that the long wait was because one of their waffle machine was down.
This kind gesture and service improved our overall experience. Also wanted to shout out that the milkshake is thick, creamy, consistent - it actually tastes much better than the waffles haha.

Decided to explore places for ice cream nearby my place; happened to chance by many reviews on holy cow creamery and when a cafe have been around for more than 4 years, just selling ice cream - it says something! 🥰

Ordered the charcoal waffles, crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. 😋The blue hawaii (blue peaflower with sea salt) was slightly too salty for my liking while the Earl grey lavender definitely a big win (I love my Earl grey lavender!) The creme brulee was just meh.

Do visit when it's on the nonpeak hours. Definitely worth a visit and will be back for more!

Choice of Ice Cream Flavour: Rocher & Chocolate O.D

My go to place for ice cream and waffles as it is in my neighbourhood. Waffles stayed crispy even after the ice cream melted. Would recommend pairing the charcoal waffles with any “cream” coloured flavours over chocolatey or fruity flavours.

There is ongoing Shopback promotion: 2 x Premium scoops for $4! That’s like 1 for 1! Very worth it!

Cozy little ice cream bar in a quiet neighborhood centre. We had the golden waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream. The waffle was good and ice cream decent.

Loved the 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯's ($11/pint) rich milkiness which caressed the tongue like satin. Paired well with the crispy charcoal waffles.

Slivers of honey bled into the milk, creating a burst of intoxicating fragrance. It was a smidge away from cloying, but fortunately sweetness was deftly controlled.

Yishun's only specialty gelato, and a good one too. No just cos it's Yishun doesn't mean there's cat flavour, we prefer them roasted... JK, cat sashimi 4lyf.

Both flavors were unique in their own ways, smooth and creamy. Waffles itself does not taste better than average but were passable and the ice creams made up for it. They have quite some unique flavors to look out for.

Price : Very affordable and below $10 !

• Had a wonderful experience here. The atmosphere was greats

• The waffle and ice cream tasted really good!

• Staff are very welcoming and polite !

Must try!!

Although waffles and ice cream is a simple and widely-available dessert today, Holy Cow Creamery does it pretty damn good. The waffle was light and fluffy, and actually tasty and fragrant on its own. I found the earl grey lavender a bit too strong for my liking, but really liked how the banana and rum came together. Really affordable, with a good variety of flavours. Worth checking out if you’re in the area!
