Charsiew was nicely caramelised! It’s lean (I like!) but still pretty tender, with a few pieces having some fatty bits. The ratio of lean to fat was to my preference :) Roasted duck was also rather juicy with a herbal flavour, not bad but I found it quite salty so eat it with the rice. Rice is just white rice but was of a pretty decent quality. The additional sauce given was average, lacks a depth of flavour. Wouldn’t mind having this again, but it’s quite out of the way so probably only if I find myself around the area again. Service is not bad, they were quite friendly :)

$12 for this three meat platter is pretty pricey and I probably wouldn’t order it again. This is because I wasn’t a huge fan of the roasted pork, and would rather just the duck and black char siew in my food.
The roasted pork was soft and not crisp, and not that tasty.
The black char siew was really delicious! It had a slight charcoal taste that was not too overpowering, adding a good flavour of char to the meat. It was flavourful and meaty, and I usually like my char siew meaty rather than fatty.
The duck was good as well too. Requested for the meaty part because I don’t like bones in my food😂 at the side they serve a bowl of gravy that goes well with white rice and the duck.
Would come back for the char siew and duck but I must admit that it is indeed pricey for a plate and a place like this.

A deadly plate with artery clogging fats and carcinogenic over charred crust. But yes it was all worth it.

This decadent spread of roast meats for $10.80 is a treat!! They're all fragrant albeit slightly dry. The crackling roast pork is my favourite, and the black charsiew is tender with its generous fats. Nevertheless, felt like its too charred although it has its unique honey-char taste. I prefer Char but i must say this is value for money and worth sharing (one portion is too heavy for me)

...but wasn't really threatened by anything. Ordered both kinds of char siew but without the fatty cut, it's a sad imitation of what Kay Lee was about. Roast meat was totally negligible. This legend continues its descent.

My dad used to dabao this home for our dinner almost once a month and so I’ve always remembered this place to have ‘the best roast meat’.
It definitely didn’t disappoint me as compared to the times when I had charsiew rice at random AMK coffee shops. Yknow how sad it gets when your staple charsiew rice feels like a waste of money and stomach space!?

Still a great plate of roast meat. Very flavorful charsiew and crispy pork skin!!
