This decadent spread of roast meats for $10.80 is a treat!! They're all fragrant albeit slightly dry. The crackling roast pork is my favourite, and the black charsiew is tender with its generous fats. Nevertheless, felt like its too charred although it has its unique honey-char taste. I prefer Char but i must say this is value for money and worth sharing (one portion is too heavy for me)

...but wasn't really threatened by anything. Ordered both kinds of char siew but without the fatty cut, it's a sad imitation of what Kay Lee was about. Roast meat was totally negligible. This legend continues its descent.

My dad used to dabao this home for our dinner almost once a month and so I’ve always remembered this place to have ‘the best roast meat’.
It definitely didn’t disappoint me as compared to the times when I had charsiew rice at random AMK coffee shops. Yknow how sad it gets when your staple charsiew rice feels like a waste of money and stomach space!?

Still a great plate of roast meat. Very flavorful charsiew and crispy pork skin!!

Gordon ramsay and a bunch of famous people have been here. The char siew looked promising with the black charred outside and "half fatty" inside, but I found the meat too dry and chewy for my liking. Roast pork was respectable tho not amazing. Also, the chilli sucks (not garlic chilli). Will stick to my keong saik road shop as I prefer the meat to be fattier and juicier.
🚗 : Street parking in front of shop is usually unavailable, try the underground parking at the industrial building behind the shop.

The noodles paired well with the roast meat sauce. But it's a big portion really, don't think I can finish!
Never regretted trying their tender honey glazed char siew charred at the sides. The crispy roast meat was another highlight and tasted just as good and not too salty.
Expected 💸 : $10.20

I know they've declined since changing hands, but the restaurants were still okay. Ironic the original stall served me mediocre char siew. It's certainly well honeyed but isn't Kay Lee always fat? Somehow the noodles and seasoning were the highlights.
