Nice idea. But true to KFC's reputation, it's another joke. The tart seemed baked long ago, before they reheated it for me.
A returning item. I don't really remember it. The main thing you need to know is this has three layers of seasoning, which guarantee a quick jelak. Remove the cereal and the chicken already has a coat of something that's very salty. Remove this and the chicken is already hot & crispy flavour, which brings another level of heat. I struggled to eat two pieces. Cheese fries were great, but a scam. KFC said the upsize was cheaper due to international fries day. But they failed to mention you had to get cheese fries, there's no option for regular fries.

The flavours available are garlic soy and the spicy one. I got the garlic soy which is like a caramelised sweet soy sauce. Didn't really taste the garlic. Initially I thought it was quite nice but after the 3rd wing it just felt too cloyingly sweet. Especially since they don't let you mix the flavours. The meat itself was abit tough and basically didn't live up to the usual KFC quality. It didn't help that my wings were barely warm when I got them. Serving size also small for price. 4 small wings for 8 dollars? Even though it includes the sides and drink I feel like it's a bit expensive.
I was looking forward to this as the previous few special menu items KFC pushed out were pretty impressive.
Topped up $2.50 for their cheese fries. This new KFC flavoured chicken was the bomb. Truffle taste was subtle and not overpowering and I loved the parmesan cheese flavour.

The coma-inducing Zinger Double Down (S$6.60) is back!
This well-conceived burger (well, not all think this) needs no introduction. The deadly combination of two juicy and spicy Zinger chicken patties with crispy turkey bacon and melted cheddar cheese surely whets one's appetite.
It has a new Hawaiian variant (S$6.90) with an added slice of pineapple and BBQ sauce. This definitely sweetens up the heavily salted original Zinger Double Down. Good luck staying awake after this one!
It is lah after wrapped in tortilla.. If "Naked", it's just same meat as Zinger. Smokey bbq and Tangy cocktail sauces didn't spark any fireworks in me. I wish it's powerful 🌶🌶🌶 spicy sauce instead.. Anyway I only ate 1/4 of it 😂 •
I like this!! Fat fries are crispy, bacon bits provides the saltiness, all goes so well with the sour cream. Ermmm.. But the cream portion too little lah.. KFC dun so stingy leyz! •
At $6.90, you can have a choice of the umadare rice set or the yang yeum rice set completed with a cup of refreshing 7-up.
Umadare means delicious in Japanese, the fried chicken is savoury and slightly tangy. Almost mistaken this as kimchi flavour. I personally prefer the korean one. Yang Yeum means paste in Korean, the chicken is sweet, spicy and savoury.
The batter coating the chicken wings were surprisingly crispy and I was thrilled that chicken rice was being used in the bento. I'm also glad that i didn't get the ala carte wings or it might have been a tad too salty.
It's one of the best Comfort (Fast) Food that's affordable and delicious.

I requested my Tori Katsu Burger to have less cabbage so it looked kinda plain. The patty was fried really well, crispy but not oily and was really juicy too. The sauce tastes kinda bbq-ish (a familiar but not so familiar taste, pretty unique i would say)?! Fries was great, it reminds me of Takoyaki 🤭 Not that i would be having it again but it is certainly worth a try!

But the new signature Grilled Chicken from KFC is not only lesser on calories, but tastier as well! Massive piece of chicken chunk marinated with their original blend of spices. The flavour combinig with the texture kinda reminded me of bakkwa too. Really hope they add this to their permanent menu! PS: I added on 'Chicken Rice' (in the background) cos it sounded pretty cool but it was really just the rice bucket rice la .

This is basically an upgraded version of the zinger with bacon and mozzarella cheese patty. Great variety of ingredients all thrown into the burger but I still can't fathom any other ways to consume it apart from dissecting it piece by piece. Was a tad too dry for my liking and TBH the cheese wasn't too outstanding either. Worth a try but that's about it
