Punch of sweetness from the caramelised onions, bitterness from the rockets (wished there was more for freshness though) and umami from the truffle aioli and cheese, all encased in crisp sourdough. IT WAS REALLY WELL WORTH THE HYPE AND MONEY.

Breakfast Sammy ($12) is an amazing mash of egg mayo and spam and cheddar, Shrooms 2.0 ($17) is a great combi of mushrooms and provolone cheese and sourdough. Super good, reminds me of two men bagels but with sourdough. Only thing is the waiting time is 15-20min

Note: there's no space to sit here, it's a takeout place in the alley in between Starbucks and Teh Tarik Express.

It consisted of cheddar cheese, a perfectly cooked sunny side up, spam & a layer of veg (to make you feel less guilty). The spicy Mayo also gave a tingly spicy kick, which honestly brought the flavours of this sandwich up a few notches.

Treated myself to this overflowing sandwich from Korio after crushing a particularly intense morning meeting. I want to say I love it, I really do, but it was just way too excessive. I waited 30 minutes, which is way too long for this simple combo of egg mayo + scallion + spam + cheese, even if it's made to order. While the flavours worked well together, I could only finish half of the sandwich before it got too overwhelming and greasy. Not too impressed by the service or the food. I ended up feeling worse after eating it. Go to one of the bagel places instead, they execute the concept far better.

Finally had the time on a weekday to try korio’s breakfast Sammy.
Nested within the vicinity of toastbox ya kun and mr teh tarlik, I wondered how they can sustain as a premium take out.
For $12 you get a satisfying sandwich that does keeps you filled up. They really took their time to make them too. But that’s ok as long as they deliver quality.
It looks as good as it tastes.

While waiting for our sandwich to get ready, there is an endless supply of people coming to pickup these donuts.
That’s all the reason I need to grab one of these subtle looking pastries. Oh boy. Glad to have done so. Tailored to local tastebuds with lower sweetness. It’s enjoyable.
