More Reviews of good food at Kuishin Bo (Suntec City)

Kuishin Bo is popular for its luxurious Zuwaigani (a variety of snow crabs), selection of sushi and sashimi items, plus a wide array of hot dishes and desserts.

They are currently having a Hokkaido Winter (Yuki) special buffet spread.

Diners can treat yourself to this seasonal buffet of premium Japan-sourced ingredients from scallops to salmon roe, Nisihiyama ramen, potatoes, hokke (Atka mackerel), and pumpkin mochi.

There will also be complimentary Yuzu Salmon Yu Sheng for customers dining from now till 8 Feb 2020.

Went for lunch on a weekday, $36.90++. Go for the paper hotpot and black pepper beef. The dessert plate was fun! For dessert, their cakes and warabi mochis were good.

had jap buffet for lunch tdy (don’t usually post pictures of buffet bc like idk how to plate food nicely hahaha but the dessert platter came out pretty cute so why not πŸ˜…) the food itself was pretty alright i guess but shoutout to the black pepper beef and the bean sprout egg stir fry these two dishes were bomb that stood out from the rest i literally had like 10 helpings!! (+ they had flavored detox water too which was kinda cool)

in pict is just some of the desserts cuz i only bothered plating and taking photo of my first round hahaha but overall it was quite impressive the cakes were soft and fluffy (plus points to decent frosting/filling that were not cheap cream) + the chocolate in all the desserts (including the chocolate fondue YES THERE WAS ONE) were of good quality they were thick and creamy w no artificial taste :-) the biscuity stuff/cream puffs were fresh and the creme brΓ»lΓ©e and ice cream were flavourful (some buffet places they r like too icy or diluted β€” i loved the mocha one so much they had lil choc chips in them for texture too) OH lastly the mochis omg super good it was so soft and smooth it literally glides down r throat and the matcha/soybean powder is super legit (obvly a dessert person hahahahaha ok stopping myself here)

This buffet chain used to be one of the Japanese-buffet to go but now, this is the only saving grace dish.

When you want a hearty buffet lunch on a weekday but you only have an hour to spare, this is the answer.

The weekday buffet lunch at Kuishin Bo introduced an express lunch option that costs S$24.90 (usual price for extended lunch at S$36.90). In 60 minutes, you can pick up a spread of Japanese dishes, including soups, sushi, tempura, Japanese curry and the popular paper steamboat. If you have craving for desserts, they also offer a decent spread of Japanese sweets and cut fruits.

Don't be upset if your lunch partner is too focused on eating. He's probably maximising his lunchtime to fill his stomach. Just remember to mind your time.

Kuishin Bo! Awesome buffet~ many kinds of seafood here and delicious wagyu beef! 38++ for lunch. But if you can finish in 1 hr, the price will be 24++!! Highly recommended !

Warm your tummies with some of these paper hot pots!
Available with their buffets with many flavours such as beef and seafood. The beef one comes with thinly sliced beef with strands of fats that makes it really tender where ah ma liu πŸ‘΅ and her dentures agrees.

It will be Saturday tomorrow! Yeah~~

Don't miss the last day of hamachi cutting demonstration at Kushin-bo and enjoy the fresh, succulent and sweet hamachi to start your weekend! πŸ˜‹

They have a choice of seafood, beef, chicken and vegetables. I'm loving the beef one because there's a special sweetness to the soup!

Kuishin-bo is an all-time-fave buffet restaurant for many Singaporeans. And the reasons are straightforward and simple.

1. Wide variety of food caters to everyone's liking from young to old.
2. Free flow sashimi, cold seafood, sushi, grilled food (esp angus beef), fried food (esp ebi tempura), our bffs (best food forever) like chawanmushi...
3. Quality of food is above average, considering the price amongst their competitors.

Oh! It happens to be Hakodate theme when I was there. I super love the Hokkaido Genghis Khan (grilled sliced mutton) but gotta eat it hot. Once the mutton turns cold, it can be tough and hard to chew.

While the humorous chef was cutting the 7kg hamachi (aka yellowtail) swiftly with his sharp knifes, I was so looking forward to tasting the sweetness of this fat and fresh fish. And it did not disappoint! Audience were handed a small plate of happiness, the thick cuts of hamachi were so succulent and moist. It was smooth as I was swallowing it. The last hamachi cutting demonstration is on this Saturday (31 Oct 2015).

Fresh seafood including crayfish, scallops and prawns are always diners' faves but nobody resists free flow Zuwaigan (snow crabs) which is one of the key highlights at the buffet! Read more about it on our blog!
