BB DESSERTS
Yummy healthy option for a post-dinner treat! 😋😋 Though I understand why some might say the açaí is a little icy, it doesn’t compromise on the taste nor the satisfaction you’re going get from this! Portion seems a little small but is actually overflowing with goodness like banana, strawberry, blueberry, passionfruit, walnut, granola, almond flakes, pumpkin seed, flaxseed and honey! Free sauces include almond butter and honey, while you can top up $1 for Nutella, peanut/cashew/almond butter. Seating is really crammed, with about 4 tables of 2 pax each. Not my favourite açaí place, but definitely a good deal with Burpple 1-for-1 and situated conveniently at Plaza Singapura. 😊😊
On leisurely weekends, round the gal pals up for afternoon tea at this relaxing lounge-cafe located in Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. Order the English Afternoon Tea Set ($38) that includes assorted sandwiches, tea cakes, macarons, flaky pastries, chocolate pralines and the community-favourite buttery and warm raisin scones served with a side of cream, butter and assorted jams. Wash that down with a cup of tea or coffee of your choice!

Using the Burpple 1-for-1 deal on this meant that these two pies + drinks cost us $13.50 in total. The S’Mores pie was nice and ‘gao’, a pretty clean chocolate flavour. It was good but when put next to Camp Symmetry, it paled in comparison. Camp Symmetry had truffle infused into the cookie, and though initially apprehensive, it turned out to be such a hit. There was a complexity to the flavours that complimented each other perfectly. I never thought I would miss truffle in a dessert, but this has got me wanting more.
Well, maybe not really a secret since half the time I’m posting about sweets.
Arrays of these beautiful macarons that are just begging to eat, greet us when we push open the door to @the_m_plot. But big macarons caught our attention with flavours like Raspberry Lychee Rose & Chocolate Hazelnut Praline.
The light floral fragrance from rose and lychee infused ganache complements the tangy raspberries! Raspberry Lychee Rose was a harmonious marriage of decadent flavour but Chocolate Hazelnut Praline was pretty well-balanced too.
P.S: we managed to save with #burpplebeyond. Two big macarons along with two pot of hot tea at $13.50, it’s a super great deal! Check out my previous post to join in the giveaway for Burpple Beyond annual membership~

Taste: 9.5/10
Presentation: 9/10
Ambience: 8/10 (Issa little hot there I think their ac wasn’t working!)
Came to check this place out since i was passing by the area w a few friends and saw that it was on burpple beyond. The waffles was crisp on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside, a solid 9/10 and i got strawberry earl grey, nutella and rum&raisin on the waffles as well as a single scoop of dark chocolate on the side. Would highly recommend the nutella flavour, it isn't the normal overly sweet kind but has a deeper hazelnut flavour which we all found to be very impressive. Solid place definately recommend
The cakes here are sugar free.
The Pulat Hitam cake was ok, light and not too sweet. But very filling cos of the black glutinous rice.
The choc fudge cake was not for me. It was bland in chocolate flavour and the texture was abit off.
Coffee was not bad.
The Ispahan (rose mascarpone cream) and Paris Brest (hazelnut praline pastry cream) were light and #yummy. Enjoy with #burpple 1-for-1. (S$14)
$8.80 for a set of ice cream + lava cookie // was in the vicinity and decided to pop by for a cute snack!! got the chocolate lava cookie + speculoos ice cream today — warm, freshly baked cookie that had a sugar cookie crunch like texture around the edges with a gooey center and oozing out chocolate, paired together with the icy cold ice cream (yuck look at me and my lack of a better adjective to describe ice cream) makes for a treat that is mad yumz !!!
$9++. Tried this because it wasn’t available the previous time I was there. As w the rest of their cakes, it was goood tho I personally still prefer their cheese and chocolate cakes haha. Also though it’s a bit pricey, the portion was worth the price.
Great flavours - salted butterscotch and matchaya’s matcha. Really enjoyed the pinch of salt in the ice-cream and smoky matcha taste. Savoured every bit of.
Buttermilk waffles was crispy and fluffy while the Hojicha ice cream was quite refreshing
There were also brownies cubes which gave a different bite/texture compared to the waffles.
