Can’t get my mind off this Smoked Brisket Burger ($21++) from @mamasoisg! ❀❀❀ Featuring a generous amount of pulled beef using 12-hour smoked brisket πŸ„, seasoned with asian herbs & chili sauce, the filling was definitely the highlight of the dish! 🌟 The luscious caramelised onions added a sweet touch to the savoury meats, making the taste profile a well-balanced & tantalising one! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Sandwiched between two fluffy & buttery buns, this was undoubtedly my favourite dish! πŸ’― Comes with fries 🍟 perfect for munching on!
.
Fret not if you can’t take beef - their Chargrilled Peri Peri Chicken Burger ($18++) is equally delightful! πŸ‘ŒπŸ» Served with vegetable coleslaw & mama's burnt chili mayo 🌢, the thick & succulent chicken thigh meat πŸ“ with a hint of smokiness from the grill will surely satisfy you. πŸ˜‰
.
If you’re on a keto diet or wanna go all out on your meats, their Roast Meat Platter ($39++) would be the perfect choice! βœ” Featuring 1/2 sous-vide chinese roast chicken πŸ“, a slab of coconut grilled chicken thigh, 24-hour smoked beef brisket πŸ„, pulled pork πŸ–, chili jam & a side salad πŸ₯—, this humongous platter will certainly delight all the carnivorous eaters out there! 😍😍😍

πŸ”ΉοΈChinese-Style Roasted Pork Belly ($24): slices of pork belly πŸ– are fried twice to render that crispy crackling! πŸ’― Served with apple celeriac salad. πŸ‘πŸ»
.
πŸ”ΉοΈBahn Xeo ($21++): a traditional vietnamese pancake with prawns 🦐 & nuoc cham (dipping sauce)
.
πŸ”ΉοΈGrilled Prawn Salad ($17++): a healthier starter! Features salad made with watercress, potato πŸ₯”, cucumber πŸ₯’, lime & wasabi mayo, topped with some fresh crunchy prawns 🦐

πŸ”ΉοΈBraised Pork Belly Bao ($11++): features a thick slab of braised pork belly πŸ– sandwiched between soft buns, topped with coriander, crispy shallots, haus relish, crushed peanuts πŸ₯œ & haus sauce! The cut of meat used was pretty lean which I really liked as it wasn’t overly fatty nor greasy! πŸ‘πŸ» While I would have loved the pork belly to be more succulent, I must say that it was flavourful! πŸ˜‹ The crushed peanuts added an alluring nutty fragrance to every bite! πŸ’•
.
πŸ”ΉοΈBeef Rendang Bao ($11++): filled with a generous amount of braised beef πŸ„ with burnt chili mayo 🌢 & caramelised onions, I utterly enjoyed the flavours! Very well-marinated & seasoned, the sweet-savoury taste profile really appealed to me. ❀❀❀ Would be perfect if the beef could be even more tender, but I enjoyed this nonetheless! πŸ‘πŸ»
.
πŸ”ΉοΈBird Man’s Chicken & Cheese Bao ($11++): just who can resist fried chicken! πŸ— Chicken thigh meat is battered & fried to the perfect crisp, & that layer of savoury melted cheese πŸ§€ just aced it. Together with truffle mayo & crushed peanuts, this was akin to Chinese take on burgers. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
.
Personally enjoyed the first 2 more especially the Beef Rendang Bao as the braising liquid really permeates the buns, making every bite a flavourful one. 🀀🀀🀀 Would gladly settle with the mess!

Nestled at Cuppace Terrace is @mamasoisg, a Kitchen-Bar serving up dishes with a South-East Asian flavours. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» With an al fresco seating area, it has a pleasant ambience good for winding down with a group of friends! 🍻
.
Almost a staple on every table, their signature Son-in-Law Eggs ($7++) really impresses on presentation. πŸ’― Let’s forget about any connotation on the dish’s name & focus on the food itself! πŸ˜‰
.
Texture-wise, I would say that it is a cross between hard-boiled eggs & Ajitsuke Tamago (ramen egg). πŸ₯š Cutting through the firm egg white unveils a runny yolk that lends a nice luscious mouthfeel. 🀀🀀🀀 Liked that the eggs were greasy at all despite being deep-fried to paint that golden brown on the exterior. πŸ‘πŸ»
.
The highlight would have to be the accompanying mama's signature chilli jam 🌢, which gives the eggs more oomph with its slight spicy kick. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Served on basil leaves & tipped with sliced chilli, this was certainly an elegant way of presenting eggs on a plate! πŸ’•

Got the Son in Law eggs for starters - it came with chilli jam and a creamy center. Our mains followed - Miso Truffle Prawn pasta & Laksa pasta. The Miso Truffle was too salty despite several mouths and I feedbacked for a change, which the restaurant kindly recooked a new plate for me. Laksa pasta came lukewarm, was pretty dry and taste wise - felt like I could recreate it with the PrimaDeli laksa paste at home. Not sure if I'll be back, thought the atmosphere was good!
