They are having a promotion now, where you can grab any of their four selected burgers for $10 if you order takeaway/delivery! Since most of the reviews on this page are with regard to dine-ins, I thought I would share how their burgers fare when dabao-ed.

I ordered the cheeseburger and only got to tear into it about 40 minutes after collecting it. By then, the burger was barely warm and parts of the bun was stuck to the wrapping paper. That said, the beef patties were still very flavourful and soft. The pickles balanced out the saltiness of the meat and was a very welcome relish. The buns were a bit limp but it still tasted very decadent. So overall, it seems that takeaway burgers taste okay but aren't MINDBLOWING BRILLIANT as compared to dining in because you lose some of the textural aspects.

I appreciate the even and generous coating of cayenne pepper etc. on each perfectly crisp fry. Really good, too bad it didn't come with some special dipping sauce or something which would have elevated it further. 🤪 (it came with ketchup)

So I heard through the grapevine that Meatsmith is basically operating as a charity on Tuesdays, sending out their double cheeseburgers for a grand total of $10++. Or as @indulgentism put it: they’re open for robbery.⠀

Now, the burger may be discounted, but ain’t nothin’ about this brilliant beauty of a burger is cheap. The patties are made from a novel blend that surprised even me. Half the patty is raw ground wagyu brisket, and its other half is...y’all ready for this revelation? It’s ground up wagyu brisket that’s been smoked using Jarrah wood, which is this morning’s wood (ehehehehe giggity giggity goooo).⠀

Yep, that’s right, Meatsmith’s vaunted Cheeseburger is essentially a brisket burger. Normally a burger patty is made out of a blend of chuck, brisket and sirloin for a profoundly pleasurable patty, and an extra touch of tallow if the chef is extra fancy. However, the Meatsmith Cheeseburger is one of the most strikingly sumptuous burgers I’ve ever had. The unmistakable woody smokiness of the smoked brisket half definitely comes through with every bite.

The patty itself is a case study in how to season a burger patty to stellar sapidity. Perfectly salted & unforgettably umami, the juicy patty will make your dinner #litaf and will easily dominate your dreams for weeks after. The humble American cheese slices on each patty, as well as the perfect potato buns that are tastefully toasted, ensure that the Cheeseburger is firmly entrenched in the God tier of burgers.⠀

Yeah, I know, the virus is still out there, but it’s more than worth it to risk it for the brisket. Yep, I’m a burgler, and I have no ragrets.

Whether it’s the crisp, browned (even blackened) bits that’ve patiently sat through the Maillard reaction, stubbornly holding on to all the delicious drippings, or the melt-in-your-mouth rendered fat that’s just pure gold and 200% goodness — there’s just something about the burnt ends of meats that’s so crazily sexy. Especially when they come serve with some sweet and sour beetroot pickles and a touch of tangy mustard sauce. So sinfully good 🤤

at a price of $10++ on Thursdays, this burger was quite a steal. a small mountain of pulled pork sat atop fluffy brioche buns, completed with onions, pickles and sauce. while the meat was juicy and tender, I would opt out of pickles next time because I felt that it made the whole burger slightly too acidic!

Finally made my way down to @meatsmith_sg Telok Ayer on a Tuesday because their cheeseburgers are $10 ($16 on other days) all day Tuesdays! It was an enjoyable meal indeed with juicy patties, cheese and pickles sandwiched between fluffy buns. You can choose to add crinkle fries that are so crispy for $5 to complete the meal too! If you haven't made food plans for tomorrow do give them a try! It's satisfying, worth it and I'll definitely be back 😍
