They make their own sourdough bread here so this was really good albeit expensive!

There's the classic kaya toast we love, and there's this sourdough 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 ($7) beaut from @microbakerykitchen. It was a home run with that thick, fluffy and lightly chewy sourdough toast blanketed by that luscious layer of kaya. 🍞🥥

The intoxicating fragrance of pandan and coconut was the star but the supporting cast of sourdough twang, rich butter and sea salt bestowed some show-stopping nuances. That said, there was one part of my toast which was quite unevenly salted. But other than that, this was a tasteful modern cafe take on kaya toast.

A slice of heaven with a delicious rhythm constructed in stages - beneath the burnt peaks and waves of fluffy meringue, lay a thick, tangy cross-section of lemon curd that will have your toes curling in delight. All this deliciousness is gently cradled in a razor-thin and buttery tart shell that adds the slightest crunch to each mouthful. We were lucky enough to get the last slice when we arrived at around 1:30pm in the afternoon, so come earlier to secure your piece of the pie.

Heartwarming and wholesome, particularly on the rainy day I was having it, if a little on the thin side. However, $13 for a tomato soup is a little too rich for my blood.

Food n coffee were decently yummy, but the wet scrambled eggs n sourdough didn’t particularly blow my mind...

A pretty decent grilled cheese sandwich with oozy, cheesy insides and crisp bread. There was sauerkraut as well, which provided a sour flavour that I enjoyed. They provided tomato relish on the side, which I liked but didn’t think it went well with the sandwich :p
