Inaniwa udon is characterized by the thin and chewy, yet silky smooth texture which could only be served to Japanese nobility back in the Edo period. Fast forward to this generation, you can now enjoy this royalty udon, imported directly from Japan, with Miso Salmon’s signature miso soups that come in six different flavours such as the original Shiro, garlic, spicy, sesame, truffle, or fish collagen, all packed with umami goodness. The fish collagen miso soup is perhaps the most interesting of the lot, and this broth is not only tasty, but it also nourishes your skin for healthy and youthful vibrancy. You can get the order sheet to Build Your Own Bowl (from $8 onwards) with your choice of noodles between the Inaniwa udon or Shirataki noodles, soup broth and add an assortment of seafood options and add-ons.

Besides the soup and dry Inaniwa udon specialities, there are also other meal options such as the hearty rice bowl of Yakitori Chicken with Truffled Mushroom Don ($15), Tiger Prawn with Mentaiko Bowl ($19) and sides like Chicken Karaage with Parmesan Cheese ($7), Mentai Mayo Tamagoyaki ($6) and Truffle Edamame ($7).

Wonderful ambience and service! This place is super underrated. They gave a hand sanitizer to each of us ordering heheh. (Cheap thrills 😂)

Ordered the Fish Collagen Miso Bowl ($17), Truffle Miso Bowl ($17) and Takoyaki ($6.50). Honestly not a fan of having miso as a soup base because I usually get stronger flavours like Tonkotsu but this is really good! Texture of Inaniwa udon was great too, chewy but soft enough to bite through.

The Fish Collagen Miso Bowl came with Udon, Salmon, egg, corn and sping onion. I usually don’t order salmon in soupy stuff but this was really good 😂 Would have to say that the ingredients complemented one another. The egg had a lava interior as well, but it wasn’t the typical Japanese ramen egg that’s marinated in sauce so it’s a bit on the healthier side.

Truffle Miso Bowl blew me away just with the hints of truffle in the soup. We finished the soup up because… It. Was. So. Good. 💯 Also, their Takoyaki was so crispy on the outside, I think this is my favourite Takoyaki place! $6.50 for 6 balls is expensive but it’s worth every penny!

Their menu had so much of options that made me salivate just by looking at it. They have soup udon bowls, dry udon bowls and donburi. Will come back to try their other bowls!

A new and affordable udon place at Tanjong Pagar that worth your visit. I must say I was very satisfied with their food and more than my expectation.

I gotten their dry inaniwa udon premium bowl with a few pieces of juicy unagi. The unagi was seasoned and grilled perfectly excellent. The bowl also comes with lots of ingredients including the onsen egg, shredded nori, cherry tomato, broccoli and spring onion; and all of them actually mixed very well with the udon. $19
