For a classic streetside supper option, you won't go wrong with a Ramly Burger. These sinful burgers sport a signature layer of egg that wraps around a grilled patty and is drenched in mayo, Worcestershire and chilli sauce to create a flavour bomb (and a mess on your hands) you won't forget. Fun fact: These burger patties were originally created as a halal Western option for Muslims! You can find vans or stalls selling these all over town, but Uptown's famed Brader John is worth a visit – just be prepared to queue for up to an hour. Order the Master (from RM11.50) that comes with two patties (choose from beef, chicken, lamb, fish or prawn) and two slices of cheese. Alternatively, the Double Special Cheese (from RM10) will also satisfy!

They call these pork nuggets but these seem more like mini pork cutlets to me. Nonetheless, so yum. Love the batter that coats the juicy meat – not too thick and perfectly salted. Had it with a side of housemade bacon mayo. Can be a little rich but still good.
Finally got to try this popular burger joint and did not leave disappointed! Love the fast food concept for pork burgers, and love the price tag even more. Went with the signature Spades with juicy pork patty, cheddar, bacon and Spade’s sauce. I found the latter a little overwhelming but all in all, good burger.
Good pork burgers here! Very juicy and grilled perfectly. A regular ol’ bun would have been good enough for me, but the charcoal holds up the burger very well.
At this food truck parked in Damansara Uptown, you’ll find some of the messiest and tastiest ramly burgers in the city – come prepared to get your hands dirty! Burgers start rolling out from 10pm, and there’s usually already a queue, so best to swing by early or later to get your hands on one. Get the Double Special Cheese (RM8.50) for two beef patties wrapped in an egg, drenched in their special sauce. There are also lamb (from RM7) and fish and prawn (from RM8) options available.

For a comfort-giving dinner, seek out cheap and good chicken burgers at this Damansara Uptown dig. Located along the alley adjacent to Restoran One One One, this streetstand only does one burger, and they do it well. The deep-fried Chicken Burger topped in homemade Japanese-inspired sauces is a steal for RM9. Add RM1 (only!) for a side of fries — bestsellers include the savoury Salted Egg and a Roasted Sesame reminiscent of Kewpie mayo.
The chef’s personal favourite from the menu and probably mine too out of the two. Its flavour is almost like kewpie but a little more smoky and much creamier. There’s also a Japanese curry and Buttermilk sauce to choose from.
Burgers without fries are only RM9 – such a steal.
This new roadside burger stall in Damansara Uptown fries delicious fried chicken burgers that kinda remind me of McD’s Spicy Chicken McDeluxe sans the extreme greasiness. All burgers are made the same except for the sauce. I’m not the biggest fan of salted egg but I liked his homemade version that’s more savoury than sweet.
Known for their famous mouth watering burgers . Brother john is a staple late night snack located in damansara utama. It is a truck usually parked on the side of the road with chairs thru the alleyway. Worth the try but they queue can go up to 1 HR wait for a burger so do find something around to keep urself occupied !
Average RM10
Comes with a runny poached egg, roasted capsicum sauce, feta on sourdough toast. Beautifully plated dish no?
