Not often you’d find a bibimbap at a authentic Korean restaurant without pork. This is one of it. The gochujang is thick. Came with 8 side dishes, 1 bowl of delicious soup and steam egg.

One thing I’ve always loved about this place is their kimchi. Sooo delicious! Can’t find one that tastes as good from the Korean marts.

This is RM23.

Not all Korean restaurants sell jjolmyeon. So am always happy to see it in the menu.

This jjolmyeon was very delicious with more than enough hot and spicy sauce. An item to try here besides their gimbap.

This cost RM20.

The normal Ramyeon costs RM13. And a full roll of Gimbab (around 11 pieces?) costs about RM13.

I opted for the set so I could have the same Ramyeon, and also get a little taste of the Gimbab. The Gimbab in the set is only 5 pieces.

When you order a dish here, they serve it with some sides. Here I got some yellow pickled radish and some kimchi. It's all refillable so no worries! There is also free flow water so if you're feeling a bit stingy, at least you'll get free water!

Tucked in a stretch of korean shops is this hole in the wall korean restaurant with an extensive menu. The service was quick although one of the waitress could not speak English but she was trying her best so have patience! 😊 As long as you order a main, you're given the requisite side dishes, "Banchan". Here, they provide eggplant, radish, crabstick with cucumber and kimchi.

We ordered a Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap (RM20) and a Buldak Cheese (pictured) which came with a bowl of rice (RM26).

The Buldak Cheese was delicious, with the mix of cheeses and the spicy chicken! There was also sliced rice cake (tteokgukyong-tteok) in it and it was so good with the sauce from the chicken! The bibimbap was really filling because of the amount of rice, but it paled in comparison to other dishes available.

Would definitely be back!

Visited this quiet Korean joint in Sri Hartamas one afternoon. I don’t know if it’s a thing at Korean restaurants, but service just never seem to disappoint. Sure, the foreign worker from Myanmar may not be the quickest to understand, but they’re always compliant and always smiling. And nodding. And bowing. Back to the food! Buldojang is a Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant, so while barbecued meats are offered here, the bulk of the menu come in the form of soup noodles and stir-fry dishes. It was a hot day and there was no way I was gonna slurp my way through hot soup, so I ordered the Noodle with Chinese Bean Sauce (from RM20). This is not a dish to be had alone. A humongous bowl of noodles is served with a separate bowl of seafood and vegetables slathered in black bean sauce. Meant to be eaten together, the two feels like they could feed three tummies. Add banchan (side dishes) to the mix and you have yourself a tasty noodle feast. Leave this for pre-hair wash hours — you’re likely to leave smelling like meat (even if you don’t order it).

I came here on a Tuesday evening with my friend and the place was quite empty. We ordered a kimchi soup, bibimbap dolsot and BBQ pork belly. Because we only ordered one type of BBQ meat, they grilled them at the kitchen and served it to us instead of providing the entire grill. I love it because my hair don't get smokey/smelly that way 😂😂 the side dishes came in a good size and variety, bibimbap was good, the kimchi soup is quite flavorful, although I find it too sour and taste like pickled vegetables. The prices are reasonable and the old Korean owner is cute and friendly, I'd come back again if I'm at the area!

Unique coffee art ... Without compromising the coffee aroma and taste ... One of the rare cafes which I have revisited for multiple times!
