Boat noodles $0.80 only so cheap and nubbad for its price luh!! Located at Orto, 东星 Dong Xing - The Taste of East Asia

Quite an extensive menu for a place which serves drinks, and it drew me over especially when the menu seems to focus on East Asian food.

Upon giving it a good stir, copious amount of Minced Pork and Century Egg surfaced 🍲 Every mouthful consists of ingredients, coated with sauce from minced pork, flavourful enough on its own and no condiments needed.

Nothing mind blowing but decent comfort food, I finished it all. Would recommend this joint for food and drinks if you are over at Orto.

Although its opening hours states 5.30pm - 3am, I was informed due to the covid situation last order for food is at 1-1.30am. Still awesome for people who wants to have supper past midnight!

S$9.90++ Value Lunch Set at @hometeamns_khatib
2 choices of Soup Base :
Khao Soi
Chicken

3 trays of chicken per person

1 meat ball platter

Fresh vegetables

5 types of Thai Dipping Sauces

The Khao Soi soup base really became thick rich curry at the end of the meal. At that moment Nana said that if got rice that would be best. I was like you still can eat meh 😒? My stomach was already bursting. Requested for plain water for soup base topup but never came. Seem short handed. Only 2 - 3 staffs running around.

#Halal

The fried rice alone has the eggy fragrance but lacks seasoning while the prawns were seasoned beautifully but was not fresh. Disappointed with the "not fresh" prawns as we were dining in a prawning facility.

Ordered the Herb crusted salmon served with Hollandaise, mashed potatoes and salad.

I was tempted to relook at the menu to see if I’ve mistakingly ordered salted fish instead. Enough said.

This Thai Milk Tea Cake is moist, dense and not too sweet😙

Black Pepper Chicken, Nasi Lemak Special and Lava Cake.
