Goyohan Soul offers a refined take on Korean cuisine, balancing bold flavors with elegance. The Mini Kimchi Pancake was crisp outside, soft inside, and packed with tangy, umami-rich kimchi. The Silky Plump Oyster lived up to its name, fresh and briny with a delicate sweetness.
The Kimchi Fried Rice with Chicken had a satisfying wok hei, with well-seasoned grains absorbing the deep, spicy notes of aged kimchi. The tender chicken made it even heartier. The L.A. Galbi was a standout—juicy, Korean-style BBQ short ribs marinated in a sweet-savory sauce, perfectly caramelized yet tender.
The Grilled Half-Shell Scallop was cooked to perfection, its natural sweetness enhanced by a buttery glaze. The Army Stew was warm and comforting, loaded with Korean sausages, luncheon meat, tofu, rice cakes, kimchi ramyeon, and fish cake, all swimming in a rich, tangy broth.
Overall, Goyohan Soul elevates familiar Korean flavors with quality ingredients and thoughtful execution, making it a spot worth revisiting.
They were having a promo where the egg fried rice is $5.90 if you buy another item that is at least $8. We got the soondubu jigae ($16 for no meat option). Soondubu was slightly watery and pretty bland overall. Decent amount of tofu and mushrooms but couldn't save the lacklustre soup. Egg fried rice was decent though.
Korean dishes one for one deal with burpple.
Jajangmyeon is nice and decent, nothing special.
I like the selection of sides. Kimchi is good.
Great food & 5 Stars ⭐️customer service! Worth it 🥰
ordered the beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, ramen and tofu soup! the total bill came up to $39 which is rly super super worth especially with the burpple! food was great, I especially loved the bulgogi beef! the only downside is that they ran out of kimchi pancake which I would have loved to order. they were also slightly understaffed so I felt bad for the waiter who had to run all around to serve us but his attitude was rly great!! they’re a new restaurant, just a few months old but I would definitely come back :) great ambience, great food and with the burpple deals, great price :)
was worried that the soup would be overly sweet like some other places but this was ok! q generous w the beef and had glass noodles so this was a v comforting bowl
SO YUMZ. loved every bite of this 🤤🤤 the vegetables and mushrooms were so juicy and the flavour of the beef still managed to stand out amidst all the other ingredients. the hot stone pot also scorched parts of the rice which added even more flavour and texture to the dish. would def order again!
ordered the beef bulgogi and soondubu jiggae. both were very delicious and generous portion. the marinated beef was super flavourful and went super well with the rice. the soup was super hearty and soft tofu was really good. meal came with banchans too.
ok this was good! tasted superb when the ingredients were mixed well, but it was spicier than what i had expected it to be, despite not mixing in all of the gochujang paste provided. would re-order this if i came back! :)
they also have an option to top up for a set meal with dumplings - the dumplings were pretty good albeit unassuming in presentation.
priced affordably at $12. able to choose between three levels of spice for the soup base - non-spicy, mild spicy, and spicy. soup didn't taste like it came from a generic pre-made paste, so that's good, but it's ultimately just a bowl of ramen noodles with good seasoning. would have preferred to try their jjajangmyeon, but that was sold out at the time we went (around 4pm) on a weekday. will visit to try other dishes when they're available!
Bibimbap was flavourful! However we waited quite long for the japchae to arrive (bibimbap was almost finishing, prolly forgot our order until we reminded them) & wasn’t as nice as the bibimbap. There’s a strong wok hey taste.
Free flow side dishes was nice!!
