Komplit your pork cravings by having 3 types of pork all in the Babi Komplit Special. It comes with full works of house speciality minced pork, char siew, roast pork, fried wanton and vegetables, served with a side soup and steamed wanton.
They were generous with the amount of lard given in this bowl. The star of the show has got to be the al-dente noodles tossed in pork lard oil and sauce. The oil gives the noodles a robust slick of flavour and springy texture with every bite. The roast pork is nothing to shout about but I love the tender soft honey BBQ char siew for its good chew and bite without being overly fatty ć$9.88
Nasi Campur Babi is basically a medley of pork selection in one dish where they ācampurā everything into one plate. It is their version of pork mixed rice that includes homemade dishes like BBQ pork, roast pork, sweet pork satay, braised pig ear, siomay (better known as siew mai), soy egg and fried prawn beancurd roll. We are also given a choice between jasmine white rice or fragrant chicken rice.
The rice comes pretty fragrant and well-executed with a strong aroma of Hainanese chicken rice that we are familiar with. The fragrant chicken rice complemented the sweetness of the pork and balanced out the smoky flavour of the BBQ meat. The roast pork meat was more on the lean side but lost its crispiness on the skin. My favourite out of the bunch was the char siew. It was well marinated, sweet on the outside and provided a good chew/bite without being overly fatty ć$12.88
Tried for fun. It was erm edible? Nothing special.
Kota88 Restaurant originated from Glodok, Jarkataās Chinatown. You can expect familiar Chinese dishes with Indonesian culinary characteristics. The cocktails are really good too.

This Indonesian restaurant along Joo Chiat Road dishes out an extensive range of mouth watering Indonesian cuisine in a family dining concept setting.
The dishes we had were so good. We had their Perkedel, Ikan Bakar served with sambal, Ayam Bakar served with lemongrass chilli salsa and Nasi Goreng Ayam. Their fish and chicken were so fresh and tender. The fish was crisp on the outside with that little charred flavors and sweet and fresh on the inside. The chicken was well marinated with a layer of balinese spice and grilled to tenderness. The meat was still moist and tender and a bite into it together with the lemongrass chilli salsa gave it the additional oomph. You donāt feel it at the start but it creeps into your throat thereafter. The fried rice was goood too. Itās unlike the straightforward taste of a garlic fried rice but that lingering fried garlic taste that seems to be there yet not there making the dish so enticing and leaving you yearning for more.
Beside the grilled chicken and seafood, their dishes on average are affordable priced below $15. Pretty good value given the quality of food.
Ordered Ayam Bakar Betutu, Gado Gado, Soto Betawi & Nasi Putih.
Damage : $68.50
Recommendation : Soto Betawi
Want something different for an upcoming Xmas gathering? I recommend this Nasi Campur Babi Meriah ($98.88) from Kota88 Restaurant. Inspired by the Nasi Tumpeng Indonesia, a ātumpengā cone of Hainan Chicken Rice is accompanied by Kota88 Restaurantās eight signature dishes - from sate babi to siobak and ngo hiang. Its authentic Chinese Indonesian food makes me feel like going back to Indonesia for Nasi Campur. My favourite dish is the Sate Babi - succulent meat glazed with sweet savoury sauce with light char.

Iāve always loved the fast casual Tok Tok Soup House concept, especially when they were conveniently located just around the corner at Ann Siang Hill. So when I heard they were opening a more refined, full-fledged restaurant, I was soooo stoked ā and for good reason too. Besides the familiar rendang and ayam penyet we so loved, I was super impressed by their menu of meats and seafood. Take this massive Ikan Goreng: itās definitely not the cheapest around at $33.80, but let me tell yāall itās well worth the price. For one, itās massive. Easily feeding 3-4, the fried red snapper was beautifully golden and crisp on the outside, tender, meaty and juicy on the inside. Certainly not greasy, and exceedingly shiok to wolf down alongside a plate of their nasi uduk.
Qiu qiu Noodle, served with Char siew, sio bak, minced pork and pork lard.Satisfying my craving for Indonesian Noodle š.
