Sakon Thai serves authentic, Halal-certified Thai cuisine that’s packed with bold flavours and great for spice lovers! Remember to get their Thai milk tea to balance out the heat! Perfect for family meals or casual meet-ups. Don’t miss out on a delicious Thai feast!
I like that the tom yum hor fun is bit sweet and sour 😂 but partner feels that it’s not really like tom yum prefer it more spicy which you can just ask them for their thai chili to add on!

Tried their tomyum hor fun and prawn vermicelli, personally i love both but my partner prefer the vermicelli as it has a good wok hey peppery flavor👍 prawn doesn’t stick to the skin which is great too! not bad for the price point.

Was looking for food around Tiong Bahru after 8.30pm, TBFC most shop already closed.
Walked pass Little Elephant, and decided to give it a try.
This place is almost like a non-aircon coffee shop setting. Saw quite alot of tables filled with patrons. So food must be rather good here.
1) Tom Yam Prawn Creamy Soup- this was very good, flavourful, spicy and I can drink this non stop all night, but too much of such good stuff, I will be "de-toxing" the whole night. Seafood was fresh.
2) Basil Pork- nothing really fantastic, I would recommend to skip this entirely, there was nothing good about this I could salvage.

The 𝗧𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗯 ($8.90) was a crowd favourite. Mixing the raw egg into the minced pork made it luxuriously smooth, and we were left craving for more of this heavenly dish.
I thought I’d get a breather between Christmas and Chinese New Year, but the feasting never stops. Tee Ruk Mookata, hidden in an industrial building near Bukit Merah Central, is a revelation.
The 𝗧𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗸 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 ($68.80) consisted of a plethora of proteins, including pork belly, pork collar, prawns, scallops, beef hanger, smoked duck and assorted vegetables amongst others. The meats were all masterfully marinated and we couldn’t fault any of them.

Tom Yum Kung - $17.90

Large portion of Tom Yum soup, creamy version, that’s good for sharing with 2-3 pax. Soup taste rather balanced, not too spicy nor sour. Includes decent portion of chicken and seafood. Perfect combination with rice, best pick during rainy weather

Finally trying the food here out. Didn’t expect much because I’ve never had good experiences with Thai food from Hawker centres. So I was pretty shook by this phad thai. It’s better than some of the restaurant in sg (and I dare say some places in Thailand even). I’d crave this.
This was pretty enjoyable. However the prawns were tiny tiny tiny.
