Not the best Bak Kut teh as the pork was way too fatty which left me feeling jelat. While the soup was good, slightly had the herbal aftertaste, the pork definitely didn’t do it justice.

Total: $34.80

Nothing special about this meal, just normal bkt with some side dishes. Actually find it abit expensive for the portion and quality but it’s a shop in a shopping mall, so this justify for the price? To be honest can find way better quality BKT with the amount paid.

Rather expensive, comes to more than 10$ after gst and svc

It was above average, but somehow wasnt strong enough. U can eat it on its own if u try, without rice. Meat was really tender but some pieces were v lean, thus being dry and tough.

Soup was eerily similar to joo siah, except the bite is at the back of the throat instead of your mouth. Nonetheless very good

A layer of slick, scarlet masochism coated every inch of the SISPEC-tender frog legs, whilst elsewhere a low flame kept the numbing amour sizzling hot. 3.9/5

The sauce goes well with You Tiao 😂😂😂. We were deciding between Old St or Song Fa coz it’s not too far away and it was already nearly 8. Where do you go for your BKT?

Not much of a fan of the peppery BKT, the soup from Old Street Bak Kut Teh was pretty decent. The pork ribs were good and my favourite way of eating it is soaking it with tons of black sauce. The store was rather packed and bustling for a weekday night but a good place where family and friends can enjoy BKT with the convenience of being located in a mall.
