I didnโt even use Tabasco like I normally would because I enjoyed these ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ so much as they were!!
The baked oysters were up my alley as well. My favourites were the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ & ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ขโค๏ธโ๐ฅโค๏ธโ๐ฅ The ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ was a lot fresher & less oily than the ones found outside, and ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ข๐ค๐จ ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง is definitely one for the mentai lovers!
8/10 for the food and ambience. Went there for their happy hours where each oyster go for $2. We ordered a dozen and all the oysters were huge and fresh! We also ordered their fish and chips which is hands down, probably the best fish and chips iโve ever tasted. would definitely come back again!
The baked oysters here are not what you would typically find. Here are some of the flavours that we had!
- Oriental vermicelli oyster
- Mentaiko cheese oyster ๐
- Salted egg oyster ๐
- Oyster omelette
The oyster omelette is quite interesting and it felt like we were having a mini version of orh luak. The salted egg oyster also came with strong flavours and was one of our top picks!
Think raw oysters, baked oysters, tapas and more! Possibly the cheapest oyster spot in town, the natucial themed bar serves up a range of oyster dishes, cooked food and alcohol.
Despite the affordability, these oysters were plump and fresh. It also came with lemons which you could squeeze for an extra zest of flavour. Slurped this up in no time! ๐
Drizzled with vinegar, this bowl of oyster meesua came with shredded chicken, razor clam and sliced abalone. Flavourful starchy broth! ๐ฆช
For 12 pieces at S$23.88, this dozen of freshly shucked oysters might be one of the cheapest in town. Being slightly plump with a creamy texture, most of the oysters tasted really fresh to the slurp. However, when I ordered a second serving, there was a slightly fishy smell that was a slight turn-off, but the taste of the oysters were untainted.
Though most items on the menu seemed quite affordable, the seating capacity of the restaurant was quite small, so it would be advisable to make a table reservation before one should show up to avoid a long waiting time.
Ahoyyy! Come on board @oystercosg & @sushico.sg to get the best of both worlds and immerse your tastebuds in a gastronomic wonder!

Oyster Co. serves up Fresh Oysters at $1.99+ a piece all day, with lemon slices on top & you can also help yourself to the tabasco if you so desire.
Major oyster craving SATISFIED. Happy with these not being too briney, & they are a little bit creamy which is super shiok.
Other cheap oyster places may serve them at half the price, but at $1 a pop I've only had passable experiences with those. I'm happy paying double for the ones I had here.
You can order oysters done in other ways as well, but my preference is always the fresh ones. Your options: Mentaiko Cheese Oysters ($15+ for 3), Salted Egg Oysters ($15+ for 3), even a Vodka Cilantro Oyster Shooter ($8+)!

There's a choice of NZ or US oyster, the US oyster is more meaty & creamy ๐๐ผ. First time drinking Hite beer and I understand why Korean like to drink this beer so much, it's much lighter than Heineken/ Carlsberg.

Red & white wines are served by the glass at $12+ each. Got a Croix Du Marquis Sauvignon Blanc & Pierre Jean Chardonnay for $9+ during happy hour, which is until 8:00PM. Not too sure why the former was served at room temperature, though.

This Pure Musang King durian whiskey ($10++) has been making its rounds on social media - with several articles & hardcore whiskey fans/critics calling it BS. You can Google these articles & read up, I'm not going to delve into the science of whiskeys.
I'm not a purist, nor am I the least bit scientific in my reviews. Nothing wrong with either of that, obviously - it's just not me. I just know what I enjoy, & what I don't.
I did do my homework & read up some; 2 things jumped out at me: The addition of sugar, & the low ABV of 18%. Both of these were apparent to me when I took my first sip. It doesn't have the shiok burn (for lack of a better word) that I enjoy in a whiskey, & it is very sweet to me.
The durian scent & taste, which is probably the main selling point of it, is strong & quite tasty. I was happy that even on the rocks, I got what I asked for. Admittedly, this is quite novel. & it worked for me.
Did I enjoy it? Yes. But it could never, in any way, replace my favourite whiskey. Would I order it again? I doubt it. Do you drink novel things more than once, anyway?
Fish & Chips - $14.00
Batter-fried seasonal fish served with Belgian straight cut fries, Tatar sauce and Hainanese chilli dip.
Crispy fries and flaky white fish went really well with the spicy Hainanese chilli dip.

Oyster Co. doesnโt just serve up humongous, fresh oysters at $1.99++ a pop, they do have a small selection of hot dishes on hand.
This plate of squid ink paella ($12.80++) was most definitely not revolutionary, but it was still decent. Granted, it was too wet for paella and felt more like risotto, but each well cooked grain of rice was infused with insane amounts of flavor. Fuse that with the tasty trio of fresh prawns, squid and mussels that have been grilled to perfection, and what you have is bomb.com in a small plate.
Oyster Co. dishes out fresh Canadian oysters for just $1.99++ a pop. Creamy with a rich, decadent mouthfeel and the trademarked pleasant brininess of a fresh, succulent oyster, these majestic mollusks are an absolute steal. And yes, you are free to be as shellfish as you can possibly be.
Shuck yeah!
These freshly shucked oysters from @oystercosg, has a creamy smooth texture. They also provided lemon to add some zest to the strong flavour of oysters. For the price you paid, quite worth it. If you prefer meatier oysters like me, maybe next time I shall try their Premium Selection at $4.99 per piece. .
I've ranked their Baked Oysters ($15 for 3 pcs) according to my preferences, the oysters are huge!
1. Oriental Vermicelli Oysters
2. Mentaiko Cheese Oysters
3. Oyster Omelette ($10 for 3 pcs)
4. Salted Egg Oyster .
The Oyster Mee Sua ($5) comes with shredded chicken, razor clams, sliced abalone, drizzle of black vinegar and a dollop of chilli. The thin strands of mee sua with the slightly starchy broth was quite appetizing.
The Soft Shell Crabs ($13.90) was lightly coated with a crispy batter, it was very flavourful and juicy inside. Dip into their homemade Sriracha Aioli, the gentle spiciness makes this dish less heavy.
Leaving the last for the best, Salmon Mentaiko Don ($15.90), when I take a bite of the thick seared salmon sashimi under creamy mentaiko sauce, with generous amount of salmon caviar, I'm like OMG the caviar is popping! The flavours all comes together so well and this is a MUST TRY if you like salmon & mentaiko.
They sell drinks such as bubble milk and ice blended coffee too. Their strawberry earl grey tea quite refreshing!
Rating: ๐๐ (Good to Try)
