Part of Paul Bakery’s (Westgate) all day 3-course menu at $15.80++. This would be the highlight - starchy soup, choice of roast chicken, sea bass (small fish portion) or toast beef sandwich for main, and bread and butter pudding for dessert. Comes with home made iced tea. The pudding is a decent portion, moist on the inside, sufficiently custardy with vanilla sauce on top. Nothing stunning, but overall good deal for the price.

I've been to Paul twice, once for lunch and once for some desserts. The lunch set is pretty value for money! I tried the grilled chicken and it was not bad 😊 Portions are good too.

Desserts are also pretty good, especially the meringue tarts! The millefeuille chocolat was rather mediocre though.

My main issue with this place would be the service, it is honestly lacking and the staff there looks so confused all the time. The ambiance could be better too. Decor-wise it looks really upscale and elegant but the service and the noise levels just don't match the expectations. 😐

Sunday. Savour the weekend.

The coffee here is reminiscent of the one in France - milky with a good amount of milk froth, smooth body and not too acidic. A crisp croissant with a slight chewy interior. It’s a comfy setting with service - not bad if you need a calm place to settle in for a bit.

Un petit croissant et café cappuccino por moi. Tres bien

This tangy strawberry tart was pretty good, but the chocolate 🍫 and lemon 🍋 tarts are still the stars IMO!

Tarts run out here very fast, so if u manage to grab one, you're very lucky!

Did you know that Paul has an extremely value for money set meal? $15 for a 3 course meal that left us too full; we came only wanting desserts for dinner but left after 3 courses instead 😂

Thick, chunky, luxurious fish! I'm salivating over that perfect juicy piece of crispy skin!! Great tomato accompaniment - sweet sour and savoury! A very well balanced medley.

PAUL @paulbakery_sg has introduced a cannot-be-missed All Day 3-Course with drink Set Special, at $14.80!

Only available at Westgate @Westgatesg
The set can be enjoyed from Mondays to Fridays, from 11:30am for dine-ins.

What you get is a Soup of the day (served with fresh bread and homemade butter) or Mini Salmon Salad; a Main Course with option of Grilled Chicken in Brown Sauce (the popular choice – what I had), or Sautéed Beef Sandwich, or Seabass served with Orange Remoulade sauce; and a Bread and Butter Pudding dessert, with a drink.

Weekday lunch set below 20 & atas atm ( appetizer: carrot soup, main: sea bass , drink: peach / raspberry tea, dessert: bread and butter) don't really like the service there thou ((not very prompt and caring to teenage customers(us)) , and the food were just average. The tea was expected to be Brewed from scratch, the salad was expected to be raw salmon salad, the dessert was too big of a portion that seems to cheat my feelings. By adding just condensed milk on the top of the dessert( bread and butter), it does not seem to be of a high standard that the atmosphere promises to have . Disappointed and will only go there for the desserts that I have eyed on and will only spoil myself if I need some high class dessert cravings

PAUL's Croque Madame is like the premium version of the classic ham and cheese sandwich. Emmanuel cheese, cream and ham is sandwiched between two crispy bread and topped with a fried egg. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg

Pacific Dory w Tomato Cream Sauce: My first try at a dish w tomato cream sauce and it was surprisingly delightful! The only downside was I wished it comes w more sauce for me to dip my dory in it. Dory itself was well marinated, however a little overwhelming but its not much of a problem. Plating was awesome, same goes for the ambience and service. Priced at 13.90 w a choice of drink for set lunch. Available on Monday-Friday 11.30am-2.30pm.

Roasted Chicken Leg w Salad & Roasted Potatoes: Flavor was present in the meat, and its tender and juicy without being overly dry (which happens to some when its grilled or roasted). Enough plus points for me to head back for it again. Portion is also quite generous and the potatoes and salad goes well w it too. Lunch set comes w one choice of drink at main priced at $13.90, value for money. Available on Monday-Friday 11.30am-2.30pm.

The Hot Chocolate is very chocolatey but not creamy and rich enough. Please read my full review at xiaoyangmeimei.blogspot.sg/2014/04/paul-bakery.html

Eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese. Warm and soft. Melt-in-the-mouth. $16.50 worth the money.

Smoked salmon and yogurt spread for $22.80. The potato pancakes were were so unique!

Was definitely worth $7.30! Looks small but it's actually rather filling. The crispy pastry together with the soft creme filling was really well put together.
