Ham with pineapple chutney, mozzarella, red onion, fresh basil, Parmesan and garlic oil on a creamy béchamel base, finished with fresh parsley.

Double portion of our famous dough balls served with garlic butter, pesto siciliano and pesto genovese. Will always order this whenever we are at pizza express. It’s definitely a good starters to share.

Satisfying pizzas. And best of all amazing service at this outlet!

One of my girlfriends wanted to try Pizza Express so we went to the outlet at Holland V for lunch on a Sunday. Of course we had to order the famous Dough Balls. We were spoilt for choice with the pizzas and pastas and in the end, settled on Calabrese and the Lobster & Crabmeat Ravioli. The dough balls had a delightful crispy exterior and chewy and warm on the inside. The garlic butter only served to enhance the overall experience. These are carbs definitely worth the calories haha. I particularly enjoyed the Calabrese which was essentially a rectangular pizza topped with Calabria-style sausage, spicy Italian sausage, mozzarella, parmesan, jalapeño peppers, chili, roasted peppers, pesto and rocket leaves. The ingredients all came together very well, resulting in a pizza that was full of flavour. The lobster and crabmeat ravioli was smothered in a mushroom and pomodoro sauce. I enjoyed the little pockets of stuffed pasta but I would order the Calabrese anytime.

Still my favourite pizza place in town and super worth it especially with entertainer’s 1 for 1 mains!! I can’t speak for the other flavors because we literally order the same 2 pizzas every time we come, i.e.: carbonara and laksa. The laksa pizza comes with a really legit laksa paste and abundant toppings like sotong, quail eggs, tau pok(I think), prawns, chili padi...and the whole agglomeration of doughy goodness is sprinkled with little laksa leaves!!!! Which really elevates the taste and sets it apart from laksa pizza from other establishments.

The carbonara pizza looks pretty simple with just a few strips of bacon and a runny egg in the centre but - CONTRARY TO APPEARANCES - is packed with so much flavor!! The garlicky bechamel paste is salty to the right degree and meshes so well with their thin dough. Break the yolk and spread it all around for more oomph!!!

If you’re a carb lover, get a serving of their toasty little dough balls with garlic butter, you won’t regret it!

Can I have these yummy chewy doughballs ($6) as my main please 🤤🤤

However MUST eat them while they are hot !

Highlight of this meal was probably the DOUGH BALLS (~$5). Eyed it on another table and decided to get it...best decision.... 😛 Said I was gonna have 1 but ended up eating 4 bc the dough balls were so soft and light so it wouldn’t be too filling, and the garlic butter that came with it was garlicky and not too salty!

La Reine (~$16) a classic pizza with ham mushroom olives and mozzarella was pretty plain imo and there wasn’t much cheese on the pizza. Would suggest getting their thin crust signature pizzas cos that honestly looked MUCH better and the flavours were more interesting 🍤🦐🦀
.
Chicken and mushroom risotto (~$14) tasted like..... $14 salty atas porridge........ felt so salty (literally and figuratively) after eating it..... no go.......

Once again, pizzaexpress doesnt disappoint. Great food at wallet friendly prices!

The right amount of spiciness and the pasta was cooked al dente. Love it!

Jumping on the bandwagon of plant-based meat alternatives in the food scene this year, PizzaExpress has launched 4 new dishes on its verde menu, featuring 2 pizzas and 2 pastas each for pork and beef by using those from Omnipork and beyond meat.

Sure, it does look like a normal beef pizza but topped with Beyond Beef, vegan mozzarella, passata, red onion, red chilli, garlic oil and kale. Also served with a lemon wedge. The beef was slightly charred but fortunately, there was no unpleasant taste/smell of the plant protein used. It was a rather good attempt also to mimic the texture of real meat. However, there wasn’t much meat flavour. Instead, you get heavy flavours from all the other spices and toppings. Well, I would still prefer my real meat if given a choice. For one thing, it’s pricey for the pizza size, especially when there’s no real meat involved.

Both the pasta and pizza was delicious!

The pasta featured a cream sauce & crab meat that really complemented each other. It has a seafood bisque flavour to it which was amazing!

Pizza was great too. Toppings tasty, although i think the crust could be crispier

This is a must order at Pizza Express! The dough balls come with garlic butter, and 2 types of pesto. Really delicious, I can finish a whole plate by myself! We also had pizzas, which are one for one on Entertainer!

Damage of around $16 per pax with entertainer one for one deal. 2 pizza and garlic bread with mozzarella. Garlic bread was great, nice pita like texture. Mozellera cheese was a nice addition to it. Carbonara pizza was relatively underwhelming. I don't taste the Carbonara. Prefer the Carbena pizza which was slightly more spicy and savory. Overall a nice place.

Heard that this hailed from the UK, and it is a place I'll recommend for its pizza (and pastas). The carbonara mix was just as I'll imagine, and I would order more of it next time. We came here for its entertainer deals and hence $60 for 3 pizzas + 1 crab pasta. Well worth it :)

Rich, flavourful and not over powering.
Great filling to pasta to sauce ratio. If you're a seafood or pasta lover this is definitely something to try.👌🏻

There was a distinct and fragrant laksa flavour in this and there was a slight spicy taste to this as well! The crust is thin and had a nice texture to it 😋 With entertainer’s one for one deals, each pizza can cost about $15 or less too!

Not as hot as it sounds, spiciness coming solely from ‘hot green pepper’. But no doubt, one of the most tasty pizza on the table.

Romana style pizza that came in 8 paper thin slices. One of the thinness crust I have tried so far, great to savour the ingredient toppings.

Paper thin pizza crust spreaded w a bechamel sauce and topped w roasted turkey breast, chestnut stuffing, cranberry jelly, crunchy water chestnut. Would have preferred more sauce and more chestnut stuffing. But to each its own.
