soooo comforting! going to try the salmon pot pie next time. break open that thin, crisp pastry layer to reveal a robust stew mixed with my favvvvvv mash potatoes in this entire world🤍🤍🤍
They used angel hair pasta. The pasta is quite spicy as it is drizzled with chilli oil. The prawns are very big but slightly overcooked. Quit tough to bite. Still a goos plate of pasta.
The soup is very nice. It is very creamy. The croutons are crunchy. There are are also mushroom bits in it.
Had the truffle cheese risotto ($14.90++). I like that it is chessiness and the crunchiness from the nuts.
My friend had the salmon pot pie and it was great too.
The mushroom soup was so good! Chicken was quite nice but the sides are quite underwhelming.
Probably the best whole chicken I’ve ever had?????? Never been to Poulet before but WOW omg the creamy mushroom sauce was delicious and the chicken was so SOFT and MOIST uggggggh it was cooked with love for sure 😭😭😭😭 10/10 will come back to try em all 💫
The star of Poulét is still that classic amazingly tender Poulet Roti. The chicken is extremely tender and succulent, every single bit of the chicken is a pure joy to eat. The cream sauce served with the roast chicken exceed expectation. Creamy with a generous serving of juicy mushroom and not too salty. It's good enough to eat on its own!
Baked Seabass, steam-baked in parchment paper and placed on a bed of vegetables and potatoes that fully absorbed the essence of the fish. The seabass was very fresh, tender and flavourful, pairing well with the vegetables and zesty lemon. The only complain was the potion too small even for lady.
Love the dessert milk pudding with a wobbly melty panna cotta texture. It’s filled with rich, creamy goodness and not too sweet. Once you dig in, the milk will explode in your mouth.
This is so freaking good omg!!!! 🥑 it’s now my new fav at Poulet (used to be the truffle mash) 😋 I can eat this everyday for breakfast hehe. Drooling now~~
This truffle mashed potato ($6.80++) was great. Loved it. It was buttery and truffle taste/smell was strong. Best if it is shared with 2 people as you may get jelat after half the bowl.
Lunch set meal at $14.90++ (add on $1 for iced lemon tea drink). Citibank members can get a 15% off for ala carte items (set meals not included).
Chicken was tender and the cream sauce matched well with the chicken. Rice was hot too.
If you are eating with a large group, would suggest to not choose Poulet as a lunch stop. They are slow and cannot handle large groups and orders well. We had to keep pestering them for our orders which they keep messing up and we had to continuously remind them of our orders which they are super blur of.
Please remember to check your bills carefully (especially for this branch) as they got our orders wrong and we almost had to pay extra $10.
Bad experience.
Staying with our favourite Poulet chicken with signature Chardonnay sauce, we also tried their new Angus beef steak with foie gras created by JQ. But the verdict was quite a let down.
Since the last time we had Poulet few years ago, their chicken didn’t taste the same. The sauce was still delicious as before but the chicken meat tasted drier.
The new Angus beef steak was medium rare done right, quite good but not outstanding. Perhaps a feat these days with so many places offering good steaks with premium cuts. The ingredients on the plate were pretty good but didn’t come together well for a dish that’s be memorable.
Old or new, hopefully it was just a one-off at this outlet; or really that this wasn’t what we remember it to be anymore.
Comes with free starter with each main course! We chose the quarter roast chicken with French onion rice and the chicken carbonara! This portion was just nice for 3 of us! The chicken carbonara came with a sous vide egg on top and was creamy and delicious, hitting all the notes of a classic carbonara with some added chicken pieces. The star of the show was definitely the chicken though, it was tender and flavoured well, the meat was soft and the skin was flavourful! Would highly recommend especially for the set which is so worth it! (Starters were generic salad and wings hence not pictured) #burpple #burpplesg #poulet
loved the cream sauce here. this was a set meal meant for 2 but I don’t think it was that filling :/
Also, for the set the sauce is served by the side, instead of the chicken resting on the sauce. Which is obviously better since u get the chicken is all its glory and can decide how much sauce goes on it
Makes sense that garlic bread is available as an add-on to the onion soup. Doesn't really soak up much soup but that's cos it's rather crispy!
Thin but quite flavourful and chock full of soft onions. Slightly sour do it makes for a fantastic starter
The Chardonnay mushroom sauce is my favourite! The creamy sauce, packed separately, complements the chicken from @pouletsingapore really well and makes an excellent Christmas lunch. No poulet meal should be complete without the truffle mashed potato ($7+) and sauteed wild mushroom ($8+). All these at the convenience of your home with the help of @foodpandasg. For those who still like the traditional turkey, check out the Christmas Platter by Poulet under the Christmas Menu via Foodpanda app.

Having trouble looking for cheap set lunch for 2? Well this is definitely the place I would recommend, is just $24.80 for half a chicken with a choice of any 2 sauce, 2 side dish ( Rice,Mash,Fries,Baguette), and 2 soft drinks, if you don't like soft drinks, just pay extra $1 to change to a homemade drink.
So soft and Flavorful! It will be perfect if it comes with the Poulét Truffle Mashed Potato.
Sadly, you have to order them separately. The mashed potato is quite pricy but it's worth it! Superb! 😋

Poulet Roti with Mushroom Chardonnay Sauce; the tender chicken paired well with the generous amount of creamy mushroom sauce (which reminded of mushroom soup but thicker and slightly saltier). It's pretty nice, but troublesome to eat being half a chicken.
The ultimate winner, however, was the Truffle Mashed Potatoes. The truffle taste was really strong, just how a mega truffle fan like me would love it! Simple, yet oh-so-very delish!
