The ckn is rlly not super special. The combination w the lettuce works, esp because their lettuce is very good. The magic lies in the sauce but it's so addictive because it's quite sweet
Quite oily. The bean had a decent texture, although despite the salted fish or dried shrimps it's still too mildly seasoned
Can't choose to have other types of patties
This one had a bouncy texture but the seasoning is really weak, should really get the salted fish/egg ones if possible
A light version with long grains that have bite. It's quite strongly seasoned w the ginger paste, however the ginger taste itself is still very manageable.

Was impressed with the fried rice as each grain was flavourful. Salted egg chicken was creamy and well marinated. However, would wish for chicken to be meatier instead of just flour.
Crispy and meaty pork cubes drenched thoroughly in sweet and sour sauce that was both tangy and savoury. Not the best sweet and sour pork I’ve tasted but definitely good enough for a hearty meal.
Definitely in love with their samsui ginger chicken. Chicken was tender and even their breast meat was moist. The ginger with sesame oil definitely enhanced the taste of the chicken with minimal sauce by allowing the slightly salted ginger to do its job. Would come back again.
BEST DISH! Eat it while warm with a bowl of rice! The tofu skin is tasty while the inside will melt in your mouth.
Ordered quite a few dishes but Samsui Ginger Chicken is still my favourite. And I don't even like rice in general but because of the ginger I had their Ah Gong Ginger Fried Rice and yesss their ginger is 💯 SOUPER good lunch with them and service is awesome too. The staff was really patient with us although we took quite long to decide 🙈
Samsui chicken is a popular dish found in local Soup Restaurant chain in Singapore. It used to be a luxurious dish in the past. Eaten by the samsui women usually only once a year. The use of sesame oil and ginger sauce is believed to be able to rid the body of excess wind.
