The "Angus Royale" - $20.90
Melted cheddar cheese in a brioche bun with caramelized onions, garlic aioli and topped with a fried egg.

The old saying goes that a picture's worth a thousand words. Well, I'll let this picture do the talking!

Nestled in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, this place offers the best Spize dishes with a slightly modern twist.

As basic as this dish seemed, every bite was heavenly! The noodles was cooked to perfection and the onsen egg just seal the deal. Not forgetting those tender ribeye fillets...

Restaurant with a good view of the Bukit Timah Nature reserve. Even though it’s location within Temasek Club along Rifle Range road makes accessing difficult, it is advisable to make reservations during meal times.

The seafood aglio olio was on point but the fried Hokkien mee on Opeh leave was just eggs with noodles and prawns. Safe to say we should stick to western dishes here.

Tastes great, very huge portion served with curly fries! Worth the price and good for friends and families to come

Fans of CROSSant rejoice! 🎉 Here's introducing to you the Croburg from Spize - as the name suggests, this is a hybrid of croissant 🥐 & burger 🍔. Instead of the usual buns, the star of the show 🌟 is the croissant-like pastry made with many more layers than a typical croissant for that extra flaky, crispy texture. 💯 Extremely buttery & delightful! 🤤
.
Sandwiched within is a 400-days grain-fed Australian Wagyu beef 🐄 patty air flown from Melbourne, Australia. Comprising 80% Jack's Creek MBS 3 Chunk Tender & 20% Wagyu Fat, this sure is a thick patty! 😍
.
Complete with sunny side egg 🍳, creamy truffle aioli, melted cheddar cheese 🧀 & caramelized onions 💕, this is certainly a unique 'burger'! Love the side of crispy curly fries too! 🍟

This spize outlet has such a great ambience especially if you pick the seats that overlooks the pool. Makes it so great to chill out. Had this Nasi Goreng Seafood that doesn’t scrimp on the seafood - there were four big mussels, squid, fish, crab meat and a big prawn. Sauce was sweet and sour as described. But thinking back, I think I still prefer my nasi goreng to be more savoury so I’ll go for another option next time instead.

Being a Cafe, I didn't have much expectation for a local dishes and ordered Mee Goreng Pattaya ($10.50) as it was affordable compared to the other western dishes.

However, it changed my perspective after eating it. The Mee Goreng was cooked beautiful which doesn't have smoky and char tasted. It is better than those hawker centre one which usually not opposite.

Looking back at this memorable moment, ive been with this girl for 2 years and running. My my how time flies. Its seems like becoming more of our tradition every year whereby on the month of ramadhan 1 "makan" spot has to be beside a swimming pool theme. Last year was Citrus By The Pool now this year Spize. I wonder where to next year? Well anyways the ambiance the food the service at Spize is ok. Its a nice private spot away from the hustle and bustle, whereby u can just relax tone down and really have the time to sit down with your loved one chat over nice food and drinks. The menu spread has lots to choose from from Local to Mediterranean dishes. Price wise it fits the type and amount of food you ordered. The staffs there are very nice and gave gd customer service thats a plus for me in my books. For a person who is very picky about places and quality of food, atmosphere etc, for sure i will be heading here again.

The presentation is really something. And I thought Crème Brulee on any normal-looking ramekin is already up there but this is next level yo! My colleague mentioned that it looks like a deconstructed Crème Brulee. Yes, indeed! Also it brings the impression that it's an aftermath of a battle between two blobs of brute Brulees with all the custard plop all over and fruits all chopped to pieces. Then I got all sad because all wars have evil motivation and also I thought to myself maybe they just ran out of ramekins? This just mean that we are getting less of the Crème Brulee and more of the other decorative ingredients. As for it's taste, it is just fine. Fine-dining you say? More like let - me - distract - you - with - artsy - plating - while - you - dine dining. Though one shouldn't be complaining of the portion size cause we all need some help with our diet (or portion control) sometimes.

It is exactly what it is, a beef fried rice with Thai basil leaves (specifically Thai ones). The chicken floss is so extra but such a lovely addition I must say. All in all, such a flavour galore! Sweet from the chicken floss, spicy from the heavily spiced rice, hints of mint from the basil. But what I'm most happy about is the generous amount of beef pieces. And me being me, not a grain or leaf is being wasted that day. For it's price, it's really worth it!

Opens up to around 10pm at night. one of our favourite is this Mee Tai Mak. Cost around $16, it comes with tasty ingredients and just enough oil.

Other popular local dishes are the Hokkien mee and Char kuay teow. We rate this place 7.5/10.

Everything on this plate is in service to the wild Australian barramundi, and rightly so, because it's delicious. Then again, this is a $19 briyani.

The lamb looks luxurious, but it's tough. And that's all you can judge it by.

Very ordinary. Only the little crabmeat (in the noodle, not the soft shell crab) matched the premium price.

This lamb was cooked beautifully to bring out the strong flavours. The pumpkin & quinoa was also exceptionally delicious.

Fish Briyani that uses Aussie farmed barramundi. I wonder if I could ask for more sauce on the fish. Fluffy basmati that baby also ate from my plate.
