Overhyped and wasn't that good. Exterior can be more crispy.

One more day to try the new @kohakutendon Brand new Aka-Fuji Summer Spicy Tendon.
This Tendon Bowl is brimming the best summer harvest including soft shell crab, tofu Hamburg, prawn, tuna, bitter gourd and avocado with special sauce made with Szechuan peppers and mala.
My favourite will be tofu Hamburg. Combination between carrot, corn and edamame.
For diners that can’t take spicy, there is non spicy option. 💰$18.8
📍All Outlet Tendon Kohaku.

With this, I've pretty much tried all major tendons - none challenged Ginza Tendon Itsuki. Here there were moments of excitement, but mainly it was straightforward. Unusual tempura include squid and baby corn. If there's a shining light, it's the squid, which had all the attributes of good squid without the rubbery texture and toughness.

Yummy!! This bowl was chock full of ingredients such as prawn tempura, chicken, corn, mushroom and vegetables. Very filling after a while, recommended to get a glass of their green tea to neutralise the oil.

I usually love all the seasonal creations by Kohaku but this one was a disappointment. The only star of this bowl has to be the omelette and the vegetables were too soft and the batter could be a little thinner.

Love the place here, treat from the parents we paid around $140 for 7 of us. 2 prawns, 2 small chicken breasts, 2 small Long beans, 1 pumpkin, 1 squid and a mushroom.

LOVE THE SQUID it’s very soft and has a great bite. My sister’s was hard so maybe the standard varies. However for the lack of onsen egg and slight heaviness in batter, I’d opt for tendon Ginza itsuke.
