Their smoked duck is sourced directly from their own farm in Malaysia. The very tender smoked duck breast is seared before it’s served, and tasted a little like bacon.

Wanted to try the Gochujang chicken but didn't see it in mains hence went for the Cajun chicken with potatoes $16 (changing to fries will cost additional $3). Feel that the chicken was lightly spiced, no particular taste of Cajun, quite ordinary Western food. Should go for the cheesecake in future.

It took awhile but the Basque Burnt Cheesecake trend has finally made its way to Singapore and spearheading the charge is none other than this creamy cheesecake from The Kins, a new cafe that just witnessed its official launch last week. Congrats guys! 🎉🎊 .

Though this cheesecake might not look as pretty as regular cheesecakes with its singed top, trust me when I say that it's so damn delicious that you'll want a whole piece of this all to yourself! 💯 .

Underneath the uneven blackened layer lies a moist, oozy layer at the centre followed by a light, fluffy layer of Japanese style cheesecake at the base 😋 .

Dig your fork into the cheesecake and watch as the cheesecake just oozes languidly onto your fork. Lift said fork to your mouth and let the cheesecake just dissolve on your tongue. Pure ambrosia! ❤ .

With each mouthful, you open up your palate to a variation of flavours and textures ranging from the slightly bitter & smoky crème brûlée-esque top to the creamy, custardy centre layer which boasts a strong milky flavour & a refreshing hint of zest and finally on to the sweet, fluffy layer of cheesecake at the bottom. Oh yeah, and there are those firm edges at the back which provide a different mouthfeel too! It's oh so satisfying and not cloying in the least bit! 🤤 .

Though the cake is served with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream on the side (not sure why ours looked like a puddle from the moment it arrived 🤷‍♀️), the cake is honestly so good on its own that it didn't really need this extra cream to elevate its flavour! 💯 .

Definitely wouldn't mind heading all the way back to Pasir Panjang just for this baby 💋


Tasted better than it looks with slight bitter burnt taste for the top and light creamy cheesy interior and a surprise "caramelised crumbs?" on the bottom.

A wonderful dessert and chill-lax place. 👍🏻

This highly raved cheese cake didn’t have the melty cheese flowing out, though it’s really a great dessert... Guess we need some consistency here~

Duck confit was small, though mashed potatoes servings were generous. Value for money only because of the opening 20% off. Croissant was very crispy and flaky, so depends on preference. Matcha latte was served lukewarm.
But I really love the space and the feels, so genuinely hope to see them work towards a better concept in the future.
