desserts were above expectations!! tiramisu had q a strong coffee taste and a subtle alcohol taste. panna cotta was damn nice with the crunchy crumbs on top of it and even the complimentary chocolate cake was enjoyable. it’s like a chocolate malt cake

an additional of $25 for this rib eye. it was juicy paired well with the sauce

the appetizers were quite generous and i was quite full by the time i got to the mains… pork was like roasted pork but some pieces where slightly tougher to chew. the sauce was ok

also another appetizer that we had apart from the angel hair pasta which we enjoyed a lot was this soup which we found was a tad too salty for our liking. still a good dip for my onion bread which is saved from earlier

angel hair with black truffle, shkonkonbu and butter poached prawns! i love this pasta a lot, much more than the spiced pork linguine that i ordered for my main. truffle taste was evident and not overpowering

Weekend brunch set - July 2024

good to mix in the egg with the con carne. not too spicy and goes well with the crispy baguette

complimentary onion bread served with butter!

Despite being a steakhouse, I still miss their bread 🙂

IMO, Wooloo Mooloo serves the best bread that I’ve ever had; it has fried scallions and sea salt on it! But, of course, why come to a steakhouse if I’m not here to eat their steak?

The steak tastes good, but what is lacking are some sides, and you have to top up for them, which makes the plate look plain. It only has a few salad vegetables placed on it with the steak.

Overall, it was a good experience, but I think it would be more worth it to visit during lunch hour as they have some lunch promotions.

We celebrated J’s birthday there, but they did not sing the birthday song as steakhouses usually do. However, they did serve cake for the birthday boy 😌

It was okay dessert. Didn’t quite taste like a brownie.

Very substantial but I wish the pasta sauce was made of fresh tomatoes.

In the mood for a hunky slab of red meat, I just had to upgrade the @diningcitysingapore Nespresso Restaurant Week 3-course lunch set ($48) at Wooloomooloo! At a top-up of $20, the medium 250 Day Grain Fed Nebraskan USDA Prime Rib Eye was a well-executed cut. Though it looked a little overcooked at first, the rib eye was succulent and tender. The crust on the outside was just right. Served with charred broccoli, creamy chive mash, and peppercorn sauce, the flavour of the protein was also pretty on point - savoury, flavourful but not overly meaty or cloying.

Got this ribeye, it was so good and really worth. $88 for 340grams, 250-day grain fed, 4 weeks wet aged. View is not bad too and quite family friendly!
