๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ซ๐ข๐› ($14.50) - Signature option featuring generously-sized ribs and tender meat. Was also impressed by the ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ($9) which had an enjoyable soft chew.

๐“๐š๐ฎ ๐ค๐ž๐ž ($4) - Juicy beancurd skin in a herbal broth.

Pair with rice ($1) or slurp worthy mee sua ($2.80). Highly recommend the ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐ข๐š๐จ ($3) thatโ€™s freshly fried to enjoyable crispness and absorbs the broth well for juicy and flavourful bite.

The Ya Hua flagship stall was just round the corner from Havelock Hawker. So, came by to have 2nd lunch (as the Turtle soup wasnโ€™t enough for me).

Out of the 2, I preferred the Pork Ribs as the meat was more tender, plus layered in-between with some good fats; the Bak Kut meat was rather dry with too much bones rather than meat and barely any fats.

I could do this all day. And I meant drinking this soup.

Free refill just like every other bkt shops.

The soup was peppered just right.

The meat was so tender and it just slips off the bone.

Tried Yu Hua Bak Kut Teh (@northpointsg) for the first time. The Bak Kut Teh came with 3 ribs - they were tender and didnโ€™t take much effort to clean the meat off the bone. The broth was flavourful and the peppery, but not overpowering.
.
Ordered some side dishes to go with the meal. Although the portions seemed small - we were so full that we didnโ€™t even have space in the tummy for dessert... not even the famous Penang Chendol that was just across from where we were seated. What ever happened to - you always make room for dessert...??๐Ÿค”

The menus on the table do NOT reflect the food prices.
The items are not those which change on a daily basis, unlike seafood.
Does this mean they can charge you any prices they feel like, and depending on what you wear?
I had to ask 2 different staff before I got a menu with price stickers.
There are 3 price tiers and for as Long as you do not order the premium version at $11.50, the staff are all trained to tell you the other 2 cheaper versionsโ€™ pork is very HARD!
If the pork is hard, then why are they even selling them.
Customers should stay away from these UNETHICAL food places

Time for a feast again. The ribs were a bit more tender than the last time I was here. Don't bother paying extra for the "Prime Ribs", it isn't worth it.

We ordered (for 5 pax):
4 x Bak Ku Teh (soups)
1 x Spinach
1 x Peanuts
1 x Pig Stomach
1 x Pig Intestines
1 x Braised Pig Trotters
2 x Youtiao (fried dough fritters)
5 x White Rice

All bowls come in one size (i.e. small), comfortably fed the 5 of us. Bill came up to be about $15 per pax.
