Gleaming with a glass-like smoothness, the lemon curd filling of this tart was equally smooth in the mouth. Instead of the usual meringue complement, the baker cleverly tempered the potent sourness of it with housemade marshmallows instead - they're those cute little white cubes scattered across the top. The buttery crust was on the right side of crisp and blended with everything else beautifully.
They also have fun casual dining place like this one. I will be impressed with food here during my teenage days, not that I am that old now! π
Their chessy fish & chip ($9.90+); the fish inside is stuffed with cheese, but I like the topping nacho cheese with thick fries more. Prawn oglioolio ($8.90+) cooked with olive oil and simple italian spices not bad.. The seafood they use are frozen kinds that can buy at supermarket. Served free flow fruits infused water too, tiny hint of flavour but it's free!

A hawker stall at Beauty World selling homemade burgers. Used to hang out here after school in the past.
Ayam Buah Kerluak burger was an adventurous try. I am not entirely sure if I like it completely, but will try their other flavours next time.
Must highlight their fries. Too long I havnt ate fries made of real potatoes.
Before alighting, the cab driver asked me where was it as he wanted to head there for breakfast after dropping us off. π
Whilst the fortress walls may prove unsurmountable unless the dining party consists of eight pre-breakfast Primary Two boys before Sports Day at MacRitchie Reservoir Park, what lies beyond is surprisingly good and luxuriously indulgent β soft and buttery bread cubes, crunchy granola, actual hazelnuts, juicy strawberries and mutantly huge blueberries with hazelnut sauce and an accompanying and rather expensive-tasting honey.
Sure, the ice cream may lose their pizzazz amidst all the Shibuya festivities β although the Shangri Latte (lol) holds up wonderfully well with its fragrant bitterness β but the ice cream part of things was always destined to be a supporting act and bread wall lubricant when the leads are so marvelous. 4/5

I sleep late and skipped my Safra AHM run this morning! All for the cause of eating dim sum! π· #feelingguilty-ish
Baked Char Siew Bun from East Ocean is always the best! T.H.W is so overrated!
Basically I saw this at almost every table when I walked in haha, no prizes to guess which dish is the most popular. Because there's never enough salted egg right? Heh. Prawns were fresh and I liked the little kick of spice. Sauce was ok, quite strong of salted egg though I would have preferred it to be less creamy! Not so sure if I can finish the whole dish myself.
My virgin experience of tasting thick toast with ice cream has gone well as expected. The guy behind the counter recommended the perfect additional ice cream flavour to go with our Nutella Thick Toast: Espresso. Vanilla Beans and Ferrero Rocher ice creams were sitting nicely on the top of thick fluffy chewy toast with melting butter inside, and of course, generously topped with Nutella "syrup" and chopped nuts. The contrast of temperature and flavours was indeed a delightful surprise.
The air-fried golden toast had probably given its delectably crumbly innards a nice spray-on Lurpak butter tan as even oneβs internal organs sometimes crave a nice summer glow for topless selfies and Instagram likes-collecting, etc. Elsewhere, the crunchy young coconut flesh tasted its primary school age and the coconut ice cream maintained its intrinsic integrity without selling out to milky sweet commerciality. 4/5
