Hoppy? Bitter? Ah, pfffffft.👅The beers here at @kreambeer_sg are just for you if you don't care about any of that jazz!😜
There's eight different fruit flavours to choose from and we enjoyed all that we tried (watermelon, passionfruit and apple). The middle is actually a So-Maek ($15) which is a mix of the fruity beer and soju! The soju is actually trapped under a shot glass in the cup and you only pull it out when you want to mix the two together! 😳
Loved the brighter, cheery laid back vibe of the place. They even have phone chargers at each table so you won't run out of juice! ⚡️
Just sampling the Prinsep Pilsner. Glad I tried it, was a nice drink. In fact, I'm going to get another in a minute. 👍🏻
As part of the Signature Truffle Wagyu Don lunch set ($45), the premium Japanese wagyu beef served is tender, smooth and almost melt in your mouth. As they are thinly sliced, the truffle is evident not only with scent, but also the taste. This is not the artificial-but-nevermind truffle-flavoured dish, but the real deal. However, if you prefer chunky beef instead of this thinly sliced, go for the Foie Gras Bifuteki (same price).

Not to be confused with Fat Cow which offers similar lunch sets. Salad, soup and dessert. Missing a chawanmushi unlike Fat Cow.
The differences are: Black Cow's beef is thinly sliced as opposed to beef chunks at Fat Cow. They use shaved truffles instead of truffle oil.
The place is very small, reservations are recommended.

According to Chef Marc Manosa, the new Sunday Brunch here is inspired by one of the largest, if not the largest, public markets in Barcelona. Thus the name - “La Boqueria Market Brunch”.
Start off at the long counter which is transformed into a market-style live station. Take your pick from the spread of breakfast items like churros and granola, bodega specials such as cold cuts, cheeses and octopus “salpicón”, some farmers’ produce of white asparagus, “Empedrat” salad and the like, plus the type of comfort food a Spanish grandma would make (think “fricando” beef stew, chicken cannelloni and meatballs).
Made-to-order tapas can be selected from a standing menu on your table, and items such as bikini sandwiches, “patata bravas” and “estraellados” scrambled eggs would be served to you piping hot.
Things get more fun around 1pm when a mini parade takes place. The FOC PimPam team, bearing huge pans and platters of paella, fideau, steak, fish and suckling pig, take a twirl around the tables of customers. They then proceed to prepare the items for serving. Watching the suckling pig being chopped up with plates (these are smashed on the floor right after) is really quite entertaining.
Save space for the desserts which are laid out at the counter area. From fresh fruit to chocolate cake to chocolate-coated churros, there’s surely something to please everyone.
At 3pm, when you’re stuffed to the gills, you can continue the party with 1-for-1 gin tonics at “La Gintoneria” in the outdoor terrace area. Besides the 3 kinds available for the 1-for-1 promotion, a wide variety of gins from all around the world are offered. They include the Ki No Bi from Kyoto, Ironball from Thailand and Skin from Germany (I learned a lot chatting to Ronald the manager and mixologist Nathan yesterday - really appreciate it guys!).
Here is what you can expect to pay for the “La Boqueria Market Brunch”:
$88++ (includes soft drinks and selected juices)
$128++ (includes cava, red and white wines, gin & tonics, soft drinks and selected juices)
$38++ for kids aged between 4 and 11 (those aged 3 and below dine for free)
Do follow @focpimpam on Instagram for details of this event as it only takes place on two Sundays a month for now.
SO DAMN GOOD. Well crisped up, intensely umami yet with some elements of herbs, the aroma captured our attention even before the waiter placed it on our table. If it was slightly less dry but I guess that's the trade off for this kind of flavour. Why do they always stun with the first dish lol
Missing this so much. Almost forgotten about this item on the menu. The sour dough is pan toasted and sandwiched in between is home-made kimchi cabbage, marinated pork belly and oozing melty cheese (I think it's cheddar). The kimchi is not overpowering and less tangy (and raw) than usual. I think it's because the cabbage and pork are stir-fried together first. Served with their signature baked crushed purple sweet potato and regular potatoes; and a nice tomato salsa.
Dinner companion not the most entertaining? Play a game of 'Find the Chicken in the Chillies' ($16), a treasure trove of fiery fried chicken bits and Sichuan chilli peppers. It's tongue-numblingly spicy enough to leave you feeling hot and bothered, which is a great excuse to order a cocktail, or two. 😉
The soup base is essentially slow cooked duck broth that emanates a rich and creamy duck umami flavour. The poached duck breast is amazingly tender and succulent and the minced duck wantons were really juicy.

A very busy cafe on Saturday afternoon which it takes 20 mins for our food to arrive, but i must say it worths a wait. The french toast (Who spill the jam? ($19) comes before our main which is slightly odd but its very instagrammable! A bit on the sweet side though they have berries and the jam to balance it, still its better to be shared rather than having it alone. We ordered the steak and egg which is good too. The coffee is alright.
