Thai Tea Kakigōri (THB255), which used to be an limited item is now part of the menu. Fluffy and fine shaved ice, their Thai milk tea flavour came through strong but those who want to, they also provide additional Thai Tea sauce to pour over for stronger flavour! Digging into it, we were pleased to find cubes of fluffy toast and glass jelly that balance out the sweetness of thai tea.

Sometimes the best flavour is the simplest one. After You's original shibuya toast is packed with rich melted butter and honey that's sweet enough yet not too overwhelming.
4.5 munchies: This may look cloyingly sweet at first glance, but I never thought I'd end up finishing it with my best friend. The sauce's bright hue of red was not at all intimidating; in fact it tasted like fresh strawberries that have been sweetened just a little. Enveloped in the shaved ice made of milk, the cheesecake was fluffy and not overly dense – perfect texture for soaking up the melted milky dribbles from above.
Oh, I also enjoyed the buttery crumbs found on the base, giving the dessert an extra crunch. The Strawberry Cheesecake Kakigori may just be your perfect afternoon treat to combat the sweltering heat of 38 °C in Bangkok!
Behind its crisp, crusty exterior, the fluffy inner whites of this Valentine's Day-edition Shibuya toast are saturated with melted butter, making a deliciously salty contrast against the saccharine Maltesers and Kit Kat ice cream dripping down from overhead.
My favourite Ferrero Toast was not available, so I made do with their Nutella Toast (205 Baht for normal size) and chose to pair with banana! Banana and Nutella are BEST FRIENDS, even though I am never a fan of banana.
Toast remains crispy on the exterior and fluffy on the interior, and the rich amount of the butter is my weakest point.

This shop has several branches in Bangkok due to it's extensive popularity not only among the tourists but the locals as well. During the trip we saw two of its outlets: basement of Siam Paragon and it's main branch at Thonglor. The queue at Siam Paragon was crazily long during the two days we went there. We decided to go to the Thonglor branch instead on a Monday morning where the queue will be hopefully shorter and also to visit the other cafes ( Jones Orphanage, Roast and Greyhound) located just 1-2 minutes walking distance from it. we tried the shibuya honey toast that was so widely raved about and it did meet my expectations. The toast was crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. What I liked about it was that they separated the honey from the toast. The honey was served seperately in a small little jug which really helped to prevent the toast from getting soggy. If also allows people to control the amount of honey they will like to have, especially important for those who don't have a preference for too sweet desserts.

This is the classic version served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, and it comes in regular and baby sized. As you drench the toast with the honey, you peel apart cube by cube to savour the wonderful balance of sweetness from the honey and savouriness from the butter that’s slathered generously on the toast.

Truth to be told, it’s actually my first time trying the Thai milk tea kakigori and it’s so wonderfully rich in aroma and flavour. The shaved milk tea ice is not diluted while hidden with treasures such as toast squares and grass jelly inside the mountain. You will also be given a side serving of milk tea sauce which gives it the additional “gao-ness” and ask the ice melts, the toast within it soaks up all the goodness.
