Unagi Yaki
(RM 10) I felt that unagi shrunk a bit in size :") and wanted to order as side dish and taste otherwise got unagi taste.
Salmon Yaki
(RM 12) I felt that salmon shrunk a bit in size :") and wanted to order as side dish and taste otherwise got fishy taste.
Chili Crab Pasta
(RM 36) My sister she decided to order chili crab prata but then the sauce was slightly spicy for me tbh and the pasta was still not that bad as still got that dent texture.
(RM 30) I did google what's their best selling mains on the menu but most of people recommended curry katsu chicken burger. But I felt that they added too much buttermilk sauce on the burger itself. But I really did enjoy the burger and onion fries as I seldom saw people serve onion fries as side dish on the menu. Onion fries really got crunchy and crispy texture and also freshly deep fried.
Its signature dessert, the Kumo Ultimo (RM25), is souffle pancake served with vanilla ice cream and garnished with crumbles, granolas, coconut flakes and mascarpone cheese mousse. Available in three flavours and freshly prepared upon order, the petite souffles were fluffy, jiggly and pillowy soft that it was like biting into airy and creamy clouds. They had the right sweetness to it and the components complemented to give it a nice flavour and textural contrast.
The plating of the Salmon Mentaiko Donburi was interestingly different. A generous slab of salmon drizzled with mentaiko sauce, sauteed mushrooms, furikake, ebiko and onsen egg seated atop a "patty" of Japanese rice, with edamame at the side. It was a light and filling dish overall.
Tiramisu soufflé pancakes (~$6.70 sgd) was wobbly and not as eggy as some soufflé pancakes! It wasn’t dense either, having a light cheesecake- like texture! Tiramisu espresso mousse was creamy, soft and amaZinggg!!! Ice cream tasted pretty normal tbh! Would like to try the Thai milk tea flavour instead 🍦🍰🎂

Money can’t buy happiness but it sure can buy one of the best grilled chicken dons I had! Grilled chicken don (~$7.30 sgd) was packed with flavour, from the rice, the generous portion of chicken (with minimal fat!!!!), and the perfectly flowy egg.... 🤤 just take my money........ I dare say this is better than tanuki’s!!! And imma huuuge tanuki garlic grilled chicken fan 🍛

Earl Grey Lavender Egglet (~$6 sgd): was WOWED by the egglet!!!! Strong Earl Grey infused taste, crispy thin puffs on the outside but soft and moist on the inside..,., I’m in luvvv 😍 Lavender condensed milk sweetened the earl grey from the egglet, and when put together with the ice cream... it was heavenly 😋 Didn’t really like the Rice Krispies at the side though, and wished the ice cream could’ve been vanilla bean instead of plain vanilla, but this was still a pretty damn good dessert 🍦🍞

really love this cafe. Pretty similar to Flowers in the window cafe but the food here was good. Do try the Milk tea soufflé pancake, very fluffy and moist. Opened by Mok Mok team, I’m going to try Mok Mok next. will definitely visit this cafe again! #jxeatstravel #burpple

The rice itself is also nicely seasoned, though I did find it a little too mushy for my liking. If spice is your thing and this doesnt satisfy you, feel free to add in that small saucer of chilli which I found quite potent.

Didn't need to think twice before ordering this and I'm glad to say that I have no regrets at all! The pufflet is dusted generously in matcha powder and theres also matcha sauce served at the side, all of which served to heighten the intensity of the matcha experience. The pufflet was served hot and crisp, and the insides were moist, dense and surprised me with the strong bittersweet notes of matcha! The pufflet's also served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream so if your tastebuds are hankering for something sweeter, pair it with the pufflet!

Do not underestimate this plate of burger, it’s soo good! The onion chips that served with it is just pure goodness. Taste completely on point . Complement with the chio interior and good service, I got to rate this 💯!
