Chilli Lobster was up next, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, though dipping the buttery brioche into the chili was comforting.
It's been a decade of friendship with my girlfriends and we decided to do a short getaway to Genting, and that we did! We pretty much just ate non-stop during the trip with one of the more memorable eats being this Big Boy (2kg). Would have exercised caution on the meal had we be in SG, but now that we are high up on the mountains, coupled with our strong currency, we decided 'go big or go home'. Fresh from the tank, the staff brought it right to our table and let us choose how we would like the lobster to be done - we opted for Chili and Lemon & Garlic Butter. The wait for the dish felt like an eternity, probably because we just endured a 6 hours journey up with an empty stomach. The Lemon & Garlic Lobster came first, with the crustacean bearing a light crunch and easily separated from the shell. It was clear that the lobster was fresh, from the sweetness and oceanic flavours it was giving off, with the flavours further amplified by the accompanying garlic sauce 💯
Lobster roll with seven spices. According to the server, the spicy level is 80% but since I’m a true and true Malaysian, it was not spicy at all.
Quite filling. Comes with fries and greens.

Sky Avenue has this place which features those feisty creatures under the sea and it is just super yummy when you cook it right! Well it’s the Burger & Lobster of course! This place is truly a magnet for locals and tourist alike to make it a must visit destination in their books.. The line just never ends so please be prepared to wait patiently for those crustaceans for at least 45minutes to 1 hour.. Their menu is really made up just burgers and lobsters with the burgers featuring both the lobster and meat burger like the B&L and the Mayfair and also their main attractions which is the Lobsters! You can actually choose the cooking method of steamed or grilled and it’s preferably to share if you aren’t a big eater.. There is something special called the Big Boys which are a huge version of their fellow ordinary size friends but with a hefty price tag and it’s truly recommended to share! This time I opted for their Original Lobster Roll (RM138) which is basically lobster meats poached and seasoned with Japanese mayo and cilantro enclosed to a toasted brioche bun but bare in mind that the meat is served chilled so please request if you want it warm up.. Overall, the lobster roll was nice; the meat is well cooked and seasoned but the drawback was the thickness and heaviness of the Japanese mayo was too overpowering to the light and refreshing lobster meats that it sort of drown it alittle..
Bought the namesake items on the menu and it tastes rather close to the one I had at Leicester Square in London. The best part of the lobster has got to be the lemon butter sauce! Don’t opt for any other options!
This lobster and burger in Genting Malaysia is so good, almost as good as the original in London. The menu is simple, as the shop name suggests, only sells lobsters or burgers.
I had the lobsters as it seems like a better deal. It’s not at juicy as the London dish, but it’s definitely a good substitute to satisfy that craving.
Lobster is succulent and juicy, and you can choose the cooking method and the sauce. Definitely take their signature sauce.

To be honest I'm a little disappointed with the food, with the price tag and only serving two side dish, I would expect at least some decent fries and salad to go along with the unimpressive lobster roll. Will I revisit? Probably no with this price tag.

The timekeeper drink though, was a rather strange drink because no matter how much you drink, the volume doesn’t seem to decrease at all. I guess it was due to the melting of the ice but the additional water doesn’t seem to dilute the sweetness of the drink as it was still pretty pleasant to slurp down at the end of the meal ✨

⭐️Original Steamed Lobster RM138. Somehow, I find that the whole lobster didn’t taste as good as what I remembered I had in London. 🤔(Maybe, it was over cooked) .
⭐️Seven Samurai Lobster Roll RM98 (Orginal one is priced at RM138, according to the waiter, there is more lobster meat. We didn’t choose the original since we already ordered the original whole lobster) I still prefer the original one with cold big chunks of lobster meat and Japanese mayo, sandwich in between the brioche bun. .

Many friends have asked me if Lobster is Keto friendly? Yes, of course! Just don’t take fries and bun and try not to pour the sauce. 😂
