Pasta rebus is 5.70+ (pleasant, though tweaked) on national day for the first 57 orders. I was the 17th order at 1.30 pm so there should be ample for you if the other cafe queue is unbearable. Almond croissant (4.7+) was good but I haven't had many others. Chicken burger is fine, eggs royale and latte (very foamy!) slightly better, asparagus mushroom pasta unspectacular. Only four tables inside, but there's fans al fresco. Would come back for weekday sets. Only gst charged, consider tipping.
Instagramable food. Looks good.
Egg was runny. But don't expect to be filling.
This highly recommended platter, most of the reviews here recommend having this platter.
This platter also consist of its famous oxtail stew, which I felt was quite ok.
Quite a hearty breakfast.
This is a weekend special and I finally woke up just in time to buy the last loaf on the shelf!
The good: lots! of figs embedded in the loaf and every slice was really full of figgy goodness. The not-so-good: texture of the bread was incredibly dense and lacked the fluffy crumb and chewy crust that is distinct of sourdough loaves.
Not sure if I’d get this again, though I really must say it’s great value for the figs!
Very small and dense scone with the trademark bite of figs incorporated in the scone batter. The wine is very subtle. Overall, it was pleasant to eat but lacked the light butteriness that I prefer in scones.
Crown Breakfast @ 50% off! Super worth it! Especially love the juicy mushrooms and tender beef stew! Their flakey, buttery 27-layer croissants were to die for!
Hot Cross Buns (Dark Chocolate) (Easter Special) was quite hard textue (after reheat) (I don't think that the buns didn't suitable for reheat tbh for my opinion) what's opinions about this? It's quite sweet taste for buns.
Japanese Sweet Potato Mini Loaf (oddle - $5.30) was quite hard texture (after reheat) and sweet taste for loaf.
also about $2.80 iirc? microwaved it for 30s, and it came out really soft and fluffy! a little bit too oily though. surface also had a nice sugar glaze that added some sweetness to the bread that was a very nice complement to the sour and tart raspberries!
$2.80 iirc! microwaved it for 45s to enjoy it hot the next morning. a little too chewy for my liking tbh! had a chocolate filling that was a good balance of sweet and bitter. I didn’t expect chocolate filling so I appreciated that there wasn’t too much inside! orange flavour wasn’t prominent enough for me though, could’ve been stronger (maybe orange zest in the dough?) - felt like a pure chocolate bagel. but overall not bad!
No pain - 💯 percent pleasure !
Having tea on a weekday afternoon with no mad queue and noise is the most gratifying thing .
Fragrant hot mocha and crisp and moist croissant.
The best croissants ever . Better than you know who 🤐.
I was so amazed at how much I loved these scones. The texture was on point - it was soft inside, kindaa fluffy, and not dry or floury at all. They were quite light, not super buttery/heavy-tasting.
The figs were quite well-dispersed throughout the scone, and I do like figs for the seedy texture & natural sweetness, so I liked it a lot. The earl grey scone was fragrant, and was pretty good too.
They’re really small, but I think they’re a good size for a quick bite. $1.20/scone is also very affordable! Highly recommend :)
Honestly the portion was so so huge - both the chicken and the lettuce they are so generous!!!! I like that the chicken is crispy and juicy tho they are cut into small pieces (not the typical salad chicken breast) and the egg yolk was super well cooked
Puff pastry sandwiched with vanilla ice cream, strawberry, coconut crumble, almond flakes and drizzled with mixed berries.
The crisp of the puff pastry is alike to that of an apple strudel, giving way upon biting. Tartness of having an assortment of strawberries, blueberries and mixed berries sauce provides layering to it 🍓 Vanilla ice cream blends in well and isn’t overpowering, making the whole combination pleasantly light.
A must have if you visit!
Food was pretty decent but definitely on the pricier side. Had BLT croissant (yummy thick cut bacon) and prawn pasta. Portion is slightly smaller than average but overall a good meal.
What’s better than French Toast? A Croissant French Toast! Unlike traditional French Toast which has a firmer bite and crispy edges, the croissant version is warm and soft with an airy texture. The almond flakes sprinkled on the croissant added a nutty profile to the dish and helps give a crunch to every bite we took. The tartness from the berries help cut the sweetness from the maple syrup that was generously drizzled on the croissant. The next time you are planning an outing to Botanic Gardens, do come and check this cafe out! 🙂
A tad too dry for me :/ will be great if it is not that dry bc the earl grey taste is distinct and nice :-( it isnt too sweet too GAAAH why why why cant you be less dry haha

Crown bakery has the best earl grey scones .
Rich in earl grey flavour and not too buttery.
Thank God for refrigerators - I have tons in my freezer now.
Simply just toss it in the oven and it is as good as fresh .
A little disappointed this time ... couldn’t quite detect the distinct sourdough taste of the waffles .
And truly a little steep in price at 8 dollars for a plain Waffle .
