The hazelnut was reminiscent of kinder bueno but in ice cream form, it had quite strong hazelnutty flavours. Pistachio was decently nutty, could have been nuttier, but it was definitely way too sweet. The texture looks weird on first glance, bc of how crumbly it is, but when eating it’s actually alright, and sufficiently creamy. Just that it melted super quickly so half the time we were having gelato soup. Wouldn’t return for this, there are better places for gelato around the area.
The savoiardi biscuits (Italian ladyfingers) were very light and filled with pockets of air, so it really soaked up the coffee and Marsala. Some parts were a bit too wet tho. The creamy mascarpone was very light as well, tying it all together. This was super boozy, pretty intense actually. It’s been some time since I last had their tiramisu, and I don’t remember it being more than $12? But we did enjoy this, and it’s good for sharing between 2-3 people so we would return for it! Would have preferred if it was colder, it wasn’t really cold when we took the box from the chiller.
Spaghetti with crab meat, Italian tomatoes, crab and parmesan cheese. Hands down one of my favourite and best pasta I’ve eaten, flavourful yet not jelat.
Ordered the Mushroom and spinach Panini. It was Yum. The bread was legit good by itself but even better when dipped in the blasemic n olive oil.
Roast beef with mustard and cheese resting between two slices of their toasted homemade bread.
It might seem little in terms of portion but this was definitely further from the truth.
Try it and you will know!
Homemade focaccia with tuna, mayo and cheddar.
Well toasted bread which made the cheese had the melted texture together with their mayo tuna it was good.

Pistachio and dark chocolate fondente 😌 what this gelato lacks in creaminess, it makes up for in flavour! The richness of the pistachio and dark choc was really unrivalled (and that’s comparing it to all the gelatos I’ve had in Italy!) but that being said, the dark choc did get sooo dark and rich that I was a bit sick of the bitterness towards the end. Good gelato nonetheless but I still wish it could be smoother and creamier instead of chunky!
Pro tip: it costs the same to get a cone and a cup! I’d say go for the cone any day (the scoops are bigger here too)
Always spoiled by friends. My gelato cravings have been satisfied ✔️
On the left is nutella, thick and sinfully chocolatey and hazelnuty. And on the right we have pistachio, full of nutty aroma and flavour 😋 @dapaolosg @chocolatmilano
And eggs are just eggs, how bad can eggs get? The highlight of our dinner was the unassuming plate of lasagna which didn’t rly look particularly attractive nor outstanding. Unlike other lasagna I’ve tried which usually spam tomato sauce, this one was slightly mushier and cheesy in a good way. Would definitely go back just for the lasagna hehe and probably try out their customisable pastas 😝

🍽 FUD FOR THE TUMMY
• Protein Plus - Cauliflower & Egg Ryce + Grilled Zucchini + Sauteed Shitake & Button Mushrooms + 2x Baked Chermoula Dory Fish + Creamy Basil Pesto ($16 + $1)
• Chicken Lasagna ($12.70)
• Eggs Royale ($18.90)
With a regular cup of two flavors costing $8.90, its definitely not the cheapest but the difference and quality is apparent. Great for takeaways, the cool crisp vibrancy of the raspberry contrasted brilliantly with the dense richness of the dark chocolate leading to a very very indulgent end to a wonderful weekend.

In three words: Pricey, Intense, worth-it😬
Will I eat there again: YES

Also can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty of portrait mode on a Google pixel???
Da Paolo brings back its gelato after what feels like a 5-year hiatus, and it tastes even better now :)
Not all gelato is made equal, and there’s something special about the gelato here. The density of the gelato, coupled with the intensity of flavour that shines through, makes their gelato far from forgettable.
We chose a regular cup (2 flavours, $8.90) of pistachio and dark chocolate. The lady at the counter was the sweetest, and was sharing with us how dark chocolate is her favourite flavour when we were trying out their array of flavours that day.
The dark chocolate is almost truffle-like, and way better than Awfully Chocolate’s Hei ice cream! The pistachio has a smooth consistency, yet its full of nutty, roasted goodness that gradually surfaces.
