I am in 2 minds about this cupcake. I love the centre which consist of a core of speculoo paste. I love the taste of lotus biscoff. The part I am undecided is that the cream and cake part is also quite sweet. While I like this cupcake, it got a little too much towards the end. I think I don't have a sweet tooth. So it might work for those who really love sweet stuff.

Ah this cupcake is too sweet for me. Maybe those with sweet tooth will like it.

Between the Red Velvet Nutella and the Chocolate Orange Salted Caramel (pictured on the bottom half), I’ll go with the latter.

A very moist cupcake, with a dab of salted caramel centre, the tangy liquorish was a nice of kick to the chocolate icing.

It’s a little on a pricey side for $4 a muffin or ($20 for 6), but overall a nice cupcake I might come back for from time to time.

*Note: my taste palate leans towards dark bitter chocolate at a sweet spot of 65%-72% cocoa. So please use that as a gauge of my taste perspective.

Durian Pengat Tart (S$7)

Also bought 6 cupcakes but thank to a guy banged into my bag at a nearby bubble tea shop which caused the cupcakes upside down and not fit for pictures.

The cupcake itself was moist and tender-crumbed, but really didn’t taste like a good chocolate cake. It had a really waxy kinda aftertaste, completely lacked the rich depth and flavours from good chocolate, and was definitely more like an American butter cake (ie tastes like cheap chocolate/cocoa powder). The frosting also had too strong of an unpleasant buttery mouthfeel, and really where’s the speculoos in there? Also, idk if it’s cause I didn’t eat them on the spot or cause of incorrect storing instructions, but what I suppose was intended as a soft speculoos core turned out to be a hard, crunchy ganache-like ball. This was after letting the cupcake sit at room temp for 45 min after being in the fridge.

Soooo good and hit all the spots. This $4 cupcake tastes so chocolaty, from the cupcake itself to the frosting and the Nutella centre. So good.

One of two cupcakes as a sweet gift from a friend!

I didn’t expect to like this little treat that much but WOW. Totally didn’t expect the durian purée-filled center, which was thick creamy and luscious. Balanced pretty well with the light vanilla cupcake which was soft and moist.

I usually find cupcake icings way too sweet for my liking, and this one was no exception - ended up scraping the icing off. In all, still a really nice cupcake, especially for durian lovers :)

What a yummy treat this is. My friend knows I loooove chocolate, so he got this chocolate cupcake base speculoos cupcake for me. What I didn’t expect was the speculoos-filled center in the chocolate cupcake! I loved it!!!! The speculoos spread added extra texture to the moist, soft and chocolatey cupcake (which was already really good on its own btw).

The icing looks really pretty, like charred marshmallows that remind me of a baked Alaska. However, it was way too sweet for my liking (as most icings are for me now), so I scraped that part off.

I have been wanting to try this s'mores bar ($7.50) ever since I saw this on fluff's Instagram as it looks like a dessert lover's dream! While the aethestic of the bar is amazing, it gets a little hard to cut through the block of marshmallow (well... it being a chewy marshmallow) to get a bite of the biscuit base, chocolate and marshmallow all in a single bite. Technical difficulties aside, the chocolate was rich and the biscuit base helps to balance the sweetness of the marshmallow.

Will return to try more of their amazing their cupcakes!

This ($2.20) cookie has a really nice balance of chocolate and sea salt! It wasn’t as chewy as I expected but I liked how the sweet and salty flavours complemented each other well.

This cupcake ($4) is not overly sweet and the cream was light but I thought the Teh tarik taste could be more pronounced!

This cupcake ($4) has glutinous rice on top and the pandan filling inside the cupcake is rich in flavour too!

The extra core in the middle of each cupcake double the moist and flavours from the cake and icing. Absolutely delish.

Have I ever mentioned Fluff Bakery is my favorite place for cupcakes? I don’t have the biggest love for cupcakes but I’ll always crave for this bakery’s cupcakes 🤤 The flavors sold changes every week so do check their instagram page for updates 🤗

Hey, I’m a sucker for brownie and the brownie at the top was moist and baked perfection. The chocolate cream on top and hidden inside the cupcake was rich and flavorful, and smooth at the same time. The cupcake needless to say was also perfect and was super moist and I love how the cupcake holds together because some cupcakes leaves alot of bits and pieces behind ;-; but Fluff Bakery’s one doesn’t keke

Loved the Boston chocolate cream pie cupcake especially the rich dark chocolate frosting and shavings.

And who can resist Durian Pengat cupcake which packed so much durian flavour you can smell it upon opening the box.

Too bad the earl grey pear honey flav was sold out yesterday afternoon. really wanted to try that.

"Yet another one joins the fray...bet this one won't last a year..." I said to myself as I scrolled through ladyironchef 2 years ago, back when cupcakes were all the rage. Well, I stand corrected. Recently got my paws on 2 boxes of these delicious cupcakes and I can finally see why this establishment is still as popular as when it first started out!

The sponge base is fluffy and moist throughout, making it enjoyable down to the last bite. Each cupcake is topped generously with cream of a specific flavor that never fails to complement its base. I personally like how fluff bakery manages to stay competitive by regularly introducing novel flavors with aesthetically pleasing toppings, I.e.: the Bandung flavored cupcake, salted caramel shards embedded on a generous swirl of cream cheese! Certainly, each cupcake is a work of art and a sight to behold!

Protip: Come early to avoid being disappointed as the popular flavors are known to sell out quickly.

Magnificently moist, this particular cupcake from Fluff Bakery does require some skill to eat without making a mess but it Is worth the effort.
Those without that much of a sweet tooth may want to approach this with caution though.

Even after all this time, Fluff Bakery's cupcakes are as good as ever. This little fella here, the "Bandung", is one of this week's flavours, and it could do no wrong.
The entire thing was pitch perfect when it came to sweetness. I was also relieved that the rose component wasn't cloying in any way. Case in point - I could smell a hint of it in the swirl of cloud-like cream that drew me in rather than put me off
In summary, a beautifully balanced creation totally befitting the brand name.

Out of all the Red Velvet cupcakes i've tried, nothing beats the one at Fluff Bakery. The cupcake is so moist and not dry at all. The cream cheese frosting is top notch, just the right amount of sweetness. And the nutella, it just oozes out of the centre. 10/10. This time I also decided to try their Caramel Cheesecake Pretzel Crumbs cupcake. Soo good.
