More Reviews of good food at Greenwood Fish Market (Quayside Isle)

Expensive but good. Under the pastry, there's also spinach and portobello with the beef. Meat was slightly raw for me.

Disappointing plate of fish and chips that was so lacklustre, considering how they placed it in their menu as their signature items. Granted that the portion was huge, the batter on the fish was thick, bland, and soggy.

I really enjoyed the octopus with wasabi marinate. Fresh octopus with a nice, hot, wasabi kick. My only gripe would be the portion that was way too small.

Rich lobster bisque with a splash of brandy. Though the brandy taste was not very apparent, the bisque itself was very appetising.

$32.95 | Served in a cute petal like bowl! Rice was well mixed with vinegar and rice seasonings. Variety of sashimi chopped into fine cubes and topped with cucumber, tamagoyaki, radish, ebiko fish roe and seaweed.

Downside was that sashimi was not cold at all and felt like it was placed outside for a period of time. Considering this place is supposed to have the freshest fish, it doesn’t seems like that at all. Pretty disappointed at the quality of the sashimi.

$12.95 | Great for starters! Served piping hot with strong truffle taste and not too oily. Love that they served it with thick parmesan cheese on top! A nice change to the usual grated parmesan cheese.

Mega love for oysters and so glad the besties brought me over to @greenwoodfishmarket for my birthday meal! Indeed a surprise attack... 💛

Oh yes, can never go wrong with ordering truffle fries the truffle aroma is highly addictive!!!!

1️⃣ House Fish & Chips - $19.95
2️⃣ Truffle Fries - $10.95
3️⃣ Mary point Oyster - $3.95 each
4️⃣ Prawn Spaghetti Aglio Olio - $24.95

💯worth visiting, quality food & great ambience by the bay over here!

Very coconutty based stew. Leave u feeling surfeit after a while. Seafood is very fresh having them swim in coconut milk...?! Nah... but won't recommend it unless u love coconut soup.

Waited an hour for this flounder fish cause the kitchen messed up our order. Thankfully the food was good. Enjoyed the oysters 🦪 and fresh shrimp 🦐

A great place for Fish and Chips with a list of fresh fish to choose from! Love their Wonderful platters & Linguini Marinara as well! Love this outlet at quayside, such a great way to spend the weekend looking out into the waters!

$225 | Not available on regular menu. The Alaskan King crab was as big as my hand! Worth it? Yes!

$4 - $8 per pcs (min. 2 pcs) | The restaurants carry a range of oysters, subjected to the seasons. We had a mixture of the Pacific, Canadian and French oysters. Verdicts? French oysters are the best!

$35.95 | Known as Trawler Catch on the menu. Can I say this is the best cod fish ever? The fish was perfectly done - crispy on the outside but yet it’s not dry inside.

No matter what I do, I'm thinking of you....." Yes, these Oysters and Chu Toro! Right where I could get them during Greenwood Fish Market's 13th Anniversary Gala, taking place on 20th and 26th Oct.

Freshly-shucked Oysters (Irish Ostera Regal), Pickled Oysters (French Gillardeau) and Chu Toro Sashimi. Fleshy freshness was the name of the game, especially for the freshly-shucked Oysters; the pickled Oysters were seasoned with a dark soy sauce which we felt obliterated the natural sweetness of the Oysters; the Chu Toro practically dissolved in our mouths.

The Drinks Package (SGD$49.00++) consists of free-flow of Prosecco, House Wines, Beer and other drinks.

Bluefin Tartare with White Truffle Rice and Russian Caviar was decadent, umami, smooth Bluefin tuna tartare heightened by piquant earthly flavour of truffle.

Rock Lobster Medallions on Sobayaki Aioli (the latter is Tofu and Ginger Glaze - this lightly-battered lobster was so good, so good, like tempura, and fantastic when eaten with the tofu curd. The combination of hot and cold, hard and soft, saccharine and salty, excited the tastebuds.
