so much food at changi & jewel but sometimes you just need some good old fishball noodles!! always change the noodles to guo tiao slurpppps. hardly ever eat fishball noodles because of the fishy smell but this one dont have!! normally this place always long q also but ever since covid-19 hit....
Sambal fish tail was well executed with its flesh soft and fine. Overall greasy with all that chillies and sambal bases; do eat with moderation!
😋Appam pancake (S$3.50) served with some grated coconut and orange sugar. Its made of fermented rice batter and coconut milk, the edges are crisp and the center is very soft. Nice snack to have in the afternoon with a cup of teh. Ate this many times. Recommend 👍

wah craving for duck rice after editing this pic 😨 any recommendation for nice duck rice in sg?
Expect a queue at this stall. Assortment of curry dishes and sides. Chicken and mutton curries are great.
From a stall selling an uncommon menu of food. Novel but average. Chicken leg was too salty for my liking.
叉火饭
Taste as good as it looked.
Crispy pork belly skin, tender char siew and fluffy rice.
Yummy!
Oh wow this was so spicy that my ears started ringing, but it was so good that I drank every drop. Don’t eat this before a plane ride unless you have an iron stomach. One of the best Mee Soto I’ve ever tried.
From the Bak Chor Mee stall, this one had egg in the soup. I asked for no innards but uncle gave me anyway. Soup was flavorful. The noodles was of cos good as always.
Wah the fire was strong, shooting out of the spout. The fish was fresh and sweet. Liked the chili a lot. Not the the usual soy sauce with sliced chili type, but the chicken rice reddish orange type. Really good.
I tried this with the fat yellow noodles. Thot it would be on the jelat side, but ok leh.
I like my snacks savory, and this really did the trick. The delicious cheesy appam was lovely on its own. I didn’t need the sugar and the coconut. On the expensive side, but I need to indulge once in a while. Made fresh on order, so must wait. And long queue.
Not sure if it’s true that it’s #1, but it wasn’t too bad. Pineapple filling was pleasantly tangy and not too sweet. Overall quite soft and buttery. There was no expiry date on the tub, but staff told me it was ok to keep for one month. Better finish it ASAP cos not sure how long it was sitting there for.
This didn’t look appetizing at all, but it tasted better than it looked. The gravy was only enough to coat the noodles but not the dumplings. Fortunately the dumplings were flavorful enough on their own. Packed tight with meat and small bits of prawn inside and not too salty. The char siew was an add on and it was great. Slightly sweet with a hint of char.
Love the sauce! The chicken is tender, would be great have the rice have a stronger chicken rice taste
This has always been my favorite red bean pau!! I love buying the frozen ones, and just going home and steam it up by myself 😋 the filling to skin ration is AMAZING! The red bean paste is sweet and smooth 😚
It was a rainy day, so this make a great comfort food. Food is served hot, the potatoes and carrots are okay, and the pork cutlet balances it all out. Not the best but a satisfying comfort food.
Decided to try Mala pot since we rarely eat it. Didn’t know it could get so expensive. We didn’t take any meat items, but still ended up paying $14.40. Pot base $3, vege 100g 3x$1.30, mushroom 3x$2.50. We took Chinese cabbage, cabbage, tofu, tofu skin, fish cake and oyster mushroom. Spicy level was medium, but the heat was less than expected. To be honest, the sauce wasn’t very good. Mostly just salty, and very oily.
One of the best I’ve tried. Quality is pretty consistent. I’ve eaten this for abt 5 times and the noodles were always Q. Not soggy like other places. I liked that the egg was always well cooked and not raw. Soup was good. We usually finish every drop.
