Quality, hot, Bandung tea latte - If such a concoction even exists, it would be this. A subtle, enjoyable sweet rose taste complemented the tea latte (you have the option to choose tea/coffee latte as your base, and I was recommended the tea). I liked this a lot because I found it different and a drink that is hard to find elsewhere. But in its uniqueness, the artificial tasting rose-sweetness might be weird to some. Nonetheless, if I’m ever at Lady M, I will get this again.

Pretty ordinary cup of matcha latte. More milk than matcha taste within, but worth applauding that at least the drink was pretty smooth, meaning they took the effort to whisk the matcha powder into the drink. Quality of the matcha nothing fantastic, but I Guess with the ambience and location, my reluctance to pay $7 (with GST) is admittedly one of the standard prices you’d find in cafes around the area.

I preferred this flavour way more than the salted caramel one. This was just a simple, light buttery crepe cake with a burnt caramelised glaze on top, finish the whole cake with an excellent texture which I enjoyed. I wouldn’t say it was a melt in your mouth goodness kind of crepe cake, but I thought it was not bad. Although $10 is pretty pricey, the size of the slice was huge, and I personally thought it was bigger than when I ate at the Jewel branch prior. Don’t often come to Lady M unless I’m in the mood for their aesthetics.. but I Guess I am willing to go back to choosing this slice if I don’t want to step out of my comfort zone any day.

Going to unapologetically say that this was one of the worst things I’ve tasted. I’m not a fan of all things sweet or salted caramel for that matter, but even if you are... let me know if you agree with me.
Not only was this overwhelmingly sweet, it was a disgustingly sweet kind of taste which just didn’t mix well together. I admit that with such a flavour there should be a certain level of sweetness to it - but this flavour ain’t it. The salted caramel had a bitter taste infused throughout the cake - like where did this bitterness come from? I tried eating just the Mille crepe itself and passing on the salted caramel layer, but it was still salty and bitter. I don’t know what kind of combination this was, but it really isn’t for me.

@ladymsg: the chamomile tea was good but the hot choc was a lil underwhelming 🙃 Also ordered the cakes instead of the crepe cakes this time :,)
I had the Royal Milk Tea Mousse and a tangy citrusy cake (which I forgot the name of and I think it was a seasonal item!) 🍋!
The milk tea mousse cake was surprisingly not very jelat or overly sweet 👌!! The yuzu (?) cheesecake was also reallll good but I can’t seem to find it on their website now @ladymsg pls correct me if I’m wrong 😅
Appearance: 10/10 (they are honestly so gorgeous looking!!)
Cost: 9/10 (lady M cakes are expensive but generally of good quality!!)
Convenience: 9/10 since I always go to the Orchard outlet which is really pretty too 💕
Taste: 9/10 (avoid the drinks and leave more room for the crepe cakes too hehe will post my recommendations for that soon)
Texture: 9/10 (am not really a mousse kind of person but this was surprisingly light and okay for me! Def prefer the cheesecake though hehe 👅)
Will DEFO be back to try the Gateau Nuage, Couronne Du Chocolat and Strawberry Shortcake as they all look so good 🥺😻

It was no surprise that every layer of Lady M’s mille crepe cakes are so thin, even and nicely coated with buttercream. However, I tried their Salted Caramel Mille Crepe (S$10.00) and I found another new love here.

Because the salted caramel glaze at the top had this burnt bitterness to it, there was actually a different form of sweetness that made the cake so aromatic in the mouth. Whether one had it with water or a pot of tea (strongly recommended), the flavours were refreshing from the default sweetness that the other cakes in the menu would present.

I also enjoyed the service from the staff there. They were prompt and friendly despite operating at full capacity. Now that tops up the niceness to this experience altogether.
